Great for terrible 3s toddlers
My daughter has a younger brother and sharing toys is a difficult part, but the book helped a lot to learn the manners in a relaxed nice way

My little boy loves these books
I love the message and the little parent prompts in the book. My toddler was very entertained with all the little interactive bits; so much so that he ripped out one of the pieces to play with 🤣 I’d recommend.

Highly Recommended - Great Book to Reinforce Manners
This series of books is excellent. One of my child's favorites. The illustration is simple enough but also engaging (plenty of things going on in the background) and children love the lift the flap element to it. There is also a item which they can slide and another they can spin. These story share every day life experiences for toddlers - in this case, Ellie invites Ned over for a play date and she needs to greet Ned, share her toys, tidy up, ask for things politely, and say goodbye accordingly. My son often requests this book and the story opens up the conservation to his manners - what he is doing well and how he could do better. I noticed a notable change in the way he said goodbye and hello to others after reading this book. My son can be quite shy and evens comes across as rude as he might want to hide instead of saying 'hello'. It also gives me an opportunity to praise him when he does say 'hello'. The best book in this series however, is the potty training one - I cannot recommend it enough.Pros- illustration - simple and interesting at the same time- lift the flap and spin elements - makes it engaging for kids- covers key mannersCons- I would have liked the book to be a little longer to cover other areas of manners e.g. proper table manners for toddlers- On one page Ned is on a scooter and he is supposed to 'slide 'across the park - this movement was a little difficult as it was very rough and it meant my son ripped Ned off the page!

Great books for toddlers yet to develop/understand these areas
This range of books are amazing for helping little ones understand these areas of development that are tricky for both kids and adults! It's not too long, and I love the tips for parents. I have x4 of these for my little boy and he loves reading them. He's just turned 4.

Doesn't really do what I hoped
I'm rating it 3 stars purely because my 2 year old daughter loves it.. it has good art and interactivity in it.. but I don't think it does a good job at showing anybody how to say please. The story is pretty rubbish to be honest and I think please is only mentioned right at the end. There are no examples of when, how and why you should say please. If you're hoping for a book that does that, then this isn't it. If you just want to complete this collection and/or your little one enjoys lifting flaps, rotating wheels and pushing and pulling motions in books then go for it.

Lovely book
Quick delivery and I’m very happy with the book. It has lots to encourage children to engage with the book with all the bits you can lift up/pull/turn etc. It also has the obvious benefit of learning good manners.

A great start to remember to say the word
Great to learn when to say it although don’t want to force her to.
