Incredible strip of silver.
Well I am thoroughly impressed with this. I have been wanting this profile katana for a while. With the unobuki zukuri profile it really makes the blade a little lighter so upon arrival the balance point is about 3.5 inches from the habaki. It is incredibly sharp, razor sharp. It is through hardened steel which is great for beginning cutting so I don't damage the blade. There is a slight issue with the saya, which I'll discuss with the seller. Not a deal breaker, I'm reviewing the sword not the saya! It is incredibly easy to control and VERY fast when you need it to be. You can hear it. It is absolutely a cutter and I got the pool noodles to prove it. The geometry of the curve of the blade is very smooth and has good flow. The ito wrap is very tight and the wrap ain't going anywhere. Very comfortable. The tsuba is super tight and that is not going anywhere either!! I would highly recommend this sword to anyone interested in getting into cutting with a katana, or even if you are well experienced and want a nice, out of the box sword to cut with that has good balance.

Excellent Value & craftmanship.
This Katana came to me with special customization requested by myself. It is beautiful, full tang, high quality, great workmanship... very sharp, polished nicely but not mirror... balanced nicely. I request this Katana without the Bo-hi and with black ray skin. Love this Katana!!

this is the green and brown one (with bamboo themed hardware). the top is one i JUST got from them.
i love my lyuesword. if you do not mind waiting for shipping from china, these guys are great. do you need a sword TOMORROW? or do you just need a GOOD sword?
