Puts out a good deal of heat for such a small unit, but I was surprised it has no thermostat, it's either on or off. It's also pretty loud and has a little ringing to it. I had one on upstairs in my office and I could hear it humming downstairs through the wood floor.The thing draws 750 watts on low - 1500 on high - that's around a $1.50 - $4.00 a day, 24 hrs a day depending on your local rates and high or low setting. Don't buy 3 of these and just let them run 24/7 heating your house. You could be adding $200-300+ to your monthly electric bill.

first few days loved. but now turns on for 1 second in morning, then turns off. it has not had a chance to overheat and turn off as had just plugged in and turned on. It is sad as without this malfunction it would have been a nice heater. I probably had it working correctly less than a week. I went through troubleshooting as wanted to keep heater.I found that If I pressed down on heater knob the heater turned on. I so hope it will keep working. all in all a nice heater.

I bought this for our loading dock office at work and it's been great. It's alot smaller than I imagined from the picture but it pumps out heat fast. Close the door, turn it on level 2(max) and let it run while I walk around doing work, come back in 30 minutes to a nice toasty room. If your in a bigger room though it wont work well, it would make a nice feet warmer though. Overall i'm happy with this purchase.

I purchased this product and tried it out for this first time and it DID NOT work. I tried several outlets but the product came not working so I called amazon the same day to return the item and I got a refund. Little upset since we were in need of a heater because of the cold. Maybe someone else will have better luck next time !

All I know is that when I turned it on, it sounded eerily like a truck grinding it's gears. Heating element never lit up (probably a good thing given the noise). Can't say it's a bad product since it got so many great reviews, but I definitely received a lemon. Returned for refund.

The only issue I have is, the description says it is quite. That is not the fact. I have the loudest heater in my office. Otherwise, works great.

This product should be capable of standing on the carpet s well. I understand that it has been explicitly stated that this product should be used on solid floor but many rooms have carpet. Moreover, there is only two level for temperature and these two level vary from state to state.

I would not recommend this heater. I used it for less than 2 weeks and found that the plug started heating up. I stopped using it immediately.
