So far so good
This product is very easy to use. The dosage rate on the bottle works perfectly for my 20 gallon. I'm on the second week of treatment and so far the results have been positive. I will have to perform the full 3 week treatment cycle to be sure but so far it seems to taking care of the Anchor Worm infestation in my tank. No noticeable harm to fish, snails or plants.

Helped to Kill Anchor worm quickly
I ordered this medication to help kill anchor worm and it exceeded my expectations. It killed the parasite faster than I expected. As others have said, the results came as early as one week. I no longer saw my betta itch. It helped him immensely, as he was extremely miserable. The problem started when I had accidentally introduced new plants that I had ordered online and did not quarantine them. Five to six days after I had placed them in my aquarium, I noticed my betta looked very irritated and was scratching his body on rocks and anything sharp in the aquarium. At first I did not know what the problem was, until I saw very small parasites hanging off the side of his skin. So that is when I did my research and found out what this parasite was. It’s not a true worm but a crustacean that sucks the blood of your fish. I was desperate to help get rid of it. Since my aquarium is heavily planted, I could not use salt. I was forced to use another solution and that is when I found this product. I bought it based on the positive reviews and I wasn’t sure if it would work as quickly as it did. To my surprise, my betta stopped itching against objects the first week I started the dose. As the bottle states, you must use at least three consecutive doses at one dose per week. I’ve already finished with each of the doses and I see no signs of anchor worm. My betta is back to his healthy self again and he’s happy and so am I! I highly recommend this medication for anyone who wants to kill anchor worm super fast!

worked, remember to finish the full course.
The media could not be loaded. First time I've had to deal with anchor worms. Been a few decades since I've needed any medication. One of our cats jumped onto the glass tank lid one one of our tanks and managed to break it putting shards of glass in the tank, so we had to replace all the gravelI always buy river gravel from Home Depot for the goldfish tanks as it's about 90% cheaper than gravel from Petsmart. The rookie mistake I made was not cleaning the replacement gravel properly this time. I skipped on boiling it so I am to blame for the crustaceans getting into the tank.I followed the dosing instructions and along with manually removing the worms got to no visible parasites within 2 weeks. However just because you don't see them doesn't mean you are clear. I'm 1 1/2 months in and haven't seen any worms for 4 weeks, but am going to continue treating until the 2nd bottle is empty (I had 2 bottles for a 40 gallon tank.) If you stop treating too soon you'll be seeing the worms again. My advice, along with far more partial water changes and manual removal of the worms with tweezers, keep treating for a minimum of 2 months.Much better price than in the local pet and fish stores.

it works! slow and steady wins the race!!!!!!
After first 4 days saw visible worms dying (still attached- they were flaccid and changing color) Prior to purchase, I had read all the reviews-the science paper on the mechanism of handling Lice/Anchor Worms, and I recalled one person who thought it didnt work till he pulled the worm off the fish. So, i grabbed the biggest fish (mine are small) and tweezed it off--sure enough it was dead-slippery goo!! YIPPPEEEEEThe others are way too small to tweeze off, so I will run full course and hope the dead bodies just drop off cuz they are unsightly.*Note for the angry fellow submerging lice in this solution--stating it doesnt work--the bottle CLEARLY states its not a poison per say, but kills them through drying out the crustacean skin over time--(osmosis of drying agents soaking crustaceans0 -It is odd some people dont read the instructions and just do things and complain about the product due to their lack of data! Added bonus---its handling my mystery snail explosion and I am so happy!! Those things reproduce like 30 rabbits all at once!!!

It seemed to be doing it's thing but...
I am now into the 2nd month of treating my Fantail tank. Never ever in 50 years of fish keeping have I had a break out of Anchor Worms but darn it...I can't say that any longer. I had purchased a new fish from my neighborhood LFS and went through 'most' of my normal Q period and seeing no hint of any problem I added him into the main tank after 2 weeks instead of my normal 4. My bad...my stupid stupid bad. That is the ONLY place these little critters could have arrived on, nothing new, no new equipment, nothing was added to my 1 year old tank but about 6 weeks later boom...I have anchor worm. Anyway, I sourced this product and with the 2nd week's treatment thought I had it licked, no more visible nastly little suckers were in view. I of course kept up the treatment regiment but after another couple of days I started seeing them again sucked into my fish. So, I'm still treating, actually I started 3 weeks ago OVER treating, I'm dosing and changing water twice a week now instead of the once a week suggested. I've even started to tweezer off those little bastards from my fish which is working...for now but I'm not sold that his product is actually doing what it is supposed to. I'm hoping my fish will stick with me.
