Good balance between usability and professional
I don’t know how but this scanner does the job right, I think it’s UI and data it presents are very good and well thought out. Sure, the numbers are confusing but it’s just a quick google search. I think it connects well between phone and car. Pretty good and I needed it to diagnose something, did just the thing I needed it to and now it’s used to track numbers. Great for its price!

Easy to use
The Ancel BD310 OBD2 Scanner is a great tool for car owners and DIY mechanics. The scanner is easy to use. You can connect it to your phone using Bluetooth with the Ancel app, which makes it even more useful for advanced diagnostics. It works with any vehicle equipped with OBDII. You can read and clear error codes, it can show real-time data, and it can test your car’s battery with this scanner. If you’re looking for an easy-to-use and affordable car scanner, the Ancel BD310 is a great choice.

It's worth it for me.
I used to have the Fixd blue tooth OBDII that was given to me as a present. It finally died on me after a few years of use (don't get one). This Ancel does all that I want it to do. It has it's own display. It is simple to use. And it turns off my engine light because I removed by EGR valve in my Mazdaspeed 3. And it does it quickly. The bluetooth is a nice-to-have, but I have not used it so far.

Fast Bluetooth connectivuty and great app UI
The device connects to the phone quickly and the Android app UI is intuitive and easy to use. I also like that you can pull info on the codes right from the app. I don't have any codes right now, so I didn't fully test this functionality but on paper it sounds great.I purchased the package with the Ancel BST100 Battery Load tester which also works great,. This is an excellent value and I highly recommend it.

Ease of use, Great Value for the money
As a wholesaler just looking for a an inexpensive scanner this has been a great tool. IT is great that you can just read the codes from the tool itself you don't need the app but there is an app if that is what you prefer to use. It doesn't read air bag lights but that was known before hand. I have yet to find a car it does not hook up to.

OK but should’ve got a cheaper option
It works well and the bluetooth is a fun feature, but it really doesn’t do anything more than a cheaper unit costing 1/3 the price. The code lookup feature isn’t really helpful because you could just Google the code and get better information anyway.

Very good obd reader for the price
I am very impressed by this scanner. With in an hour of owning it already have a solution to my car's issueIt feels very premium too, like the buttons are very tactile, screen is very well displayed, and even comes with its own like bag to prevent scratches.

Rarely will connect bluetooth.
Bought this specifically to read real time coolant temperature. It worked for that as a wired unit. Otherwise I would have returned it. The QR code in the almost useless instruction sheet doesn't work. So after finding and downloading the app, I tried connecting via Bluetooth, no luck. Since the instruction sheet is so bad I search the internet. I tried everything I could find. The one time it did connect, I barely started exploring the app, trial and error, because again no instructions, when the car over heated and I had to turn it off. Never to connect again. I have since plugged this into my daily driver and tried almost daily to connect to my phone. It never has. So as a stand alone unit, it's OK. It lags a little compared to my dash gauges and it will read codes. They just promised so much more with the unusable app.
