BEST ON THE MARKET....WELL MADE, THICK, WARM & ROOMY!!!!
My husband works construction 10 hours a day outside in Chicago. He Loves these especially in the winter. He now has 5 of them. He couldn't stop talking about the 1st one I bought him...now All of the guys on his crew wear them too.He Loves how roomy they are, he can move in them & he doesn't feel restricted & Loves how warm they are, even the hood is lined with Sherpa. He also says the zipper is very strong & goes way up when he puts the hood on & doesn't scratch his neck & chin, which is important when your working in Chicago "The Windy City". It is also water repellent (Not waterproof) keeps dry in light snow & light rain.SIZING:They are made with a Fuller cut & are a little big when you 1st get them BUT they do shrink just a little after washing them & drying them in the dryer, so if you are 1/2 size, order 1 size up. EXAMPLE: (if a L size shirt is tight on you, order this in XL) especially if you maybe wearing a thermal T Shirt & flannel shirt underneath it.These Hoodies are well made & are the very Best on the market...especially if you work outside or just want a hoodie that stands up to the wind & cold (Chicago) weather....worth every penny!!!BEST POINTS ABOUT THIS CARHARTT HOODY:. Relaxed fit. 10.5-ounce, 50 percent cotton/50 percent polyester blend with rain defender durable water repellent. Sherpa lined. Attached, sherpa-lined extended hood for extra warmth. Full-length antique nickel zipper with storm flap

Less expensive, and in-stock, replacement for an LL Bean version
Was looking for a mid-winter replacement for my 10 yr old LL Bean sherpa-lined zip-up hoodie, which was out of stock until June. The Carhartt version is a lot less expensive than the LLB.Pretty much what I was looking for, although it is a little tight in the arms. Very warm, especially in the hood. I ordered a large, but probably will get my next Carhartt hoodie a size larger, so I can more comfortably wear a fleece zip-up jacket under it (which I can do with my LL Bean size=L). In New England, the winter weather varies day-to-day, so it's nice to be able to have layers. I do like the satin/quilted lining in the arms (like the LL Bean has), as this allows me to wear a flannel long sleeve shirt, and/or a fleece jacket, and be able to get in and out without a lot of friction, which would otherwise cause my shirtsleeves to get bunched up in the jacket sleeves. I also like the non-zippered hand-pockets, which are more comfortable in cold weather on bare hands (pocket zippers are cold and scratchy). Zipper seems sturdy. Outer fabric seems durable, and since it is cotton, it won't get pills like fleece does. There's even an upper inside pocket for your phone.

Had a bad stitch but Carhartt made it right. Excellent hoodie.
This hoodie was a replacement to a similar one that I had worn out from years of service. Comfortable, flexible, and definitely warm enough for below 0 temps. I’ve only had it almost 4 months with light usage. Regrettably, we are at the end of usage of the garmet due to the zipper coming unstitched near the bottom. I brought it to a professional tailor and he was unable to repair. Very disappointing ending to a garmet I thought would last years and not what I expected out of a Carhart product. Being Outside of the return window, I am out of options for replacement.Update:I reached out to Carhartt directly and they repaired my hoodie and shipped it back promptly. I appreciate their customer service and would do business again.

It’s worth it!
Bought this for work and love it. Inside of sleeves are silky so it’s easy to put on with other long sleeves under it. Very warm and comfortable. No wind is getting through this one. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

Good quality warm jacket
I definitely like this jacket, it is overall nice and warm, but in my opinion it misses the mark on two things. I am not a fan of the sateen material used on the inside of the sleeves. It is smooth and cold to the touch and because I don't generally wear long sleeve shirts, when I just grab the jacket to go out my arms feel that cold material and brrrrrr.... Then outside I constantly feel like my arms are cold as I move even thought it is otherwise a very warm jacket. The other miss is the double pocket on the right side. The smaller pocket seems useless and I constantly snag my fingers inside the small pocket when trying to get my cold hand into the larger regular pocket. Otherwise it seems very durable, the body of the jacket is a thick warm material and uses a good quality zipper. I will definitely keep this jacket but in cold weather I'll need to put on a long sleeve shirt before putting it on to go out

This Carhartt jacket fits perfect. True to size. Warm and water resistant.
My son trains horses and he needed a not-so-heavy jacket that's semi-lightweight and keeps you warm. This is the jacket to buy. He has tried them all but this is the one. True to size, the Sherpa lining is awesome inside the jacket and hoody. Water-resistant is very key. The XL fits perfectly. Carhartt hit a home run with this Sherpa-lined jacket.

Best work hoodie I have owned
I work graveyard shift in a warehouse in Oregon, winter gets cold and this hoodie is the only thing that works for me super comfortable and warm, but light enough to still move around and work, I bought one last winter and this winter thinking of buying one just to have for outside of work 10/10 recommend
