Cotytech Expandable Dual Monitor Desk Mount Spring Arm Quick Connect with Clamp Base (DM-CDSA5-C) 24" - 29.9"

I love this design and the quality is excellent. the spring arm's tension is adjustable and functions in such a way as to allow the monitor(s) to be lifted up out of the way and then pulled back down again into the same position without having to fuss with it. When I was putting it together, I thought that spring arm was going to be a nuisance, because it kept springing up and took quite some force to pull it down, but once the monitor was attached, it behaved much differently. The spring's tension perfectly counters gravity and the monitor stays where you put it. I use a high back chair with a head rest and my previous mounts always left the monitors in a position that allowed the chair to impact the screen(s.) I cringed every time I forgot to be careful with the chair and was just waiting for the day I damaged one of my displays. That is no longer an issue. When I'm ready to get up, I just lift the monitors up out harm's way. The display mounts from this company (I have 2 different models) are of high quality. They are durable, easy to use, highly functional and the displays don't wobble around once you position them. The other pole mounts I have used were a nuisance to get the displays positioned and stabilized and once positioned, they would wobble at the slightest vibration. These are just the opposite. In addition, I can put both of my 27" wide screen displays this mount and still have plenty of room to play with the positioning. The other dual mounts I have used that claimed to fit up to two 27" displays, would fit them, but with little or no room between. If I purchased extra mounting accesories, I could fit another 2 displays over the top (if I wanted to) The poles are long enough to suit just about everyone's needs, instead of being just long enough to do the job like the others I have used. Wish I had chosen this product first, because I would not be needing replacements. These may cost little more, but are well worth it and will save you money in the long run!Update: 23 January 2016Still using these same mounts and they are just as good today as the day I bought them. I just inspected to be sure and the only issue I found was the collection of dust, which I just wiped with a paper towel dampened with Windex (Which is certainly no fault of the manufacturer. LOL.) Since my last review, my cat has also gotten into the habit of getting up on my desk and rubbing hard against the poles (Not sure why he likes these poles so much, but probably has to do with the fact that my desk top is warm, so he sleeps there a lot and the poles don't move when he rubs, so they're extremely convenient when he wakes from his nap and wants to rub,) and when he does this, if I don't see him do this, I don't know he's doing it, because my monitors stay rock still. The only time my cat can make the monitors move, is he pushes against the monitor itself or shakes the entire desk they are mounted to. To help put that into a better perspective, my cat is big (not "overweight" big, but "grew a lot" big) and weighs about 26 pounds / 11.8 kilos, is just over 3 feet / 1 meter in length not counting his tail and is quite strong for a cat (if a grab his tail and lift my feet while sitting in my office chair, he can tow me around the room. Quite comical to watch.) In any event, I just wanted people to know that the durability of this product is exceptional. It is now 2 weeks shy of 3 years since I purchased this item.

With a name like "Cotytech" my expectations weren't high. Aren't these the same people that sell cheap earphones and knockoff iPods in Walmart?Not only did this product exceed my low expectations, it blew them away. This is one of the most solid mounts I've ever used. And it's very, very easy to put together and adjust. I'm very satisfied.Just one word of advice: they sell a screw-on model and a grommet model, and it's kind of hard to tell which is which. They have the same name but different pictures. The grommet model requires you to drill a hole in your desk to mount it. Look carefully at the product picture and make sure that you know which model you're getting!

I bought these for my hubby for his birthday to hold the two monitors I got him as well. It is very solidly built and I was VERY impressed with the vendor I purchased them through - I had originally ordered the clamp version and when my husband got it he decided he wanted the grommet version. Not only did Value Max accept the exchange quickly, they did not wait to receive the clamp piece before sending the grommet piece. VERY good customer service for a GREAT product.

Love these things. Received the drill mount in error and the company sent the correct mount the next day. Great service. Awesome performance. The monitors stay where you put them! And have tremendous range so you can spin them around for others to see, etc. You can't go wrong. Worth it at twice the price.

I like having my monitors off the desk and am able to adjust them so that I can sit or stand; however, anytime someone walks by, the monitors bounce. They are not sturdy at all.

I have a 24" and a 27" monitor on this thing. It's stable despite the weight difference.Easy to assemble. Almost didn't need the instructions.
