Nat King Cole is surely the ultimate smooth operator with his silken vocals and uncluttered piano playing. To get a good selection of 50 tracks on this collection is quite remarkable.It covers all aspects of Coles catalogue....starting with Unforgettable to put you in the mood ,it then ambles seemingly effortlessly through Mona Lisa,Lush Life,Nature Boy,along the groove of Route 66 and then lilts through the joy of Red Sails in the Sunset.This a collection as near perfection as you could wish for.It showcases the amazing talents of an artist of such ability and taste that even the cigarette in the cover photo seems to have had little immediate affect upon his voice....it makes me wonder what he may have gone on to if cancer of the throat hadn't taken him at such an early age.Definitely worth the good price ,with a tune for every mood ,especially those intimate moments with a special friend.Nat King Cole was the singer for love and lovers the world over. Listen with pleasure and enjoy!!

Could happily listen to this for hours on end
I only regret that it took me until now to buy this beautiful timeless and relaxing music CD by if not the most velvety voice I know so far. Could happily listen to it for hours. Despite being relaxed, it does not lack depth and I am sure this double album appeals to a broad spectrum of listeners. Thank you.

The very best of Nat King Cole : Problem with disc one : stops and starts several times , it spoils all the pleasure to listen this wonderful singer . Disc two is OK.

Great gift brought back memories
Bought for my dad, his favourite when his records were too scratched for the record player, this was an ideal gift, so he could play it at home and in the car, happy memories

As usual Nat King Cole did not disappoint and the double album is great value for money. It was bought as a present for a Nat King Cole Fan and it was greatly appreciated- will listen to this time and time again.
