This is an entertaining and very informative book with sharp drawings and colors. A must for any Star Wars fan.

This is a great book for those who would like more insight and information for the various vehicles and vessels of the Star Wars universe , it contains some of the most notable crafts from the original trilogy and both the Phantome Menace and the Attack of the Clones movies , and Expanded Universe (Legends) , highly recommended for fans of Star Wars and others who like Sci-Fi vehicles.

The book is somewhat oldish because of its date of publishing but its worth every dollar and every moment you spend reading it. Big time! Really fun!

The book arrived fast within expected date, I bought used-acceptable one and it looks very good. I will keep it in my Star Wars collection. I will read it soon. Thanks, totally worth for the money.

I bought this for my son, since I had enjoyed the original back in the day. It's now his favorite book and he is constantly asking questions and wanting to know more about the expanded universe.

The pictures and details are amazing!! I will be using this as a Star Wars RPG reference and it will be most useful...

... aber Star Wars muss man schon mögen.Vor ein paar Jahren in England hab ich mir, da ich schon gerade das PC Spiel "Tie Fighter" gespielt habe, das Star Wars Buch "The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels" gekauft, weil ich die Zeichnungen der Schiffe gut fand, auch wenn sie schwarz-weiß waren. Als ich vor kurzem die Neuauflage, welche sämtliche Neuerungen des Star Wars Universums (u.a. Episode ! und II) berücksichtigt, gesehen habe, musste ich sie mir kaufen."The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels" ist ein Buch aus der Reihe "new essential", die das Star Wars Universum nach Kategorien ordnen und das Wichtigste festhalten.Wie alle Bücher ist das Werk komplett in Farbe und auf Hochglanzpapier als Softcover erhältlich, qualitativ recht hochwertig. Schöne und stilvolle Illustrationen, natürlich in Farbe, verschönern das Buch innen und außen.Zum Inhalt:Es werden viele Schiffe und Fahrzeuge aus dem Star Wars Universum betrachtet, angefangen beim kleinen Landspeeder bis zum Supersternzerstörer oder Weltenschiff der Yuuzhan Vong.Zu jedem Schiff gibt es Informationen wie Größe, Geschwindigkeit, Hersteller, Bewaffnung und Besonderheiten, Blaupausen von vorn und der Seite, sowie eine wirklich tolle Zeichnung über eine ganze Seite, natürlich alles in Farbe. Zu jedem Schiff gibt es noch eine Geschichte über dessen Einsatz, besondere Ereignisse oder auch dessen Pilot, etwas Hintergrundwissen muss ja sein.Größenvergleiche anhand von Schattenzeichnungen zu jeder Kategorie runden das gelungene Sammlerwerk ab.Absolut empfehlenswert für jeden, der die Schiffe aus Star Wars toll findet, gerne Werte vergleicht, oder einfach nur mal sehen möchte, ob sich die eigene Vorstellung des Yuuzhan Vong Korallenskippers mit dem deckt, was die tollen Zeichnungen hergeben.Das Buch ist zwar in englisch, die Sätze sind aber kurz und leicht verständlich, auf den Text kommt es sowieso nicht an ;)
