Work great , perfect size. Bought my first one 5 years ago. Working like new. Always finding a new place for a one. We have a dog that loves to get into the trash. This can is dog proof

Ok - hear me out. It might be the opposite of what everyone else wants for a trash can, but I WANT my dog to be able to get into this trash can! He is a very large dog, a great pyrenees, and spends most time, other than summer, outside. We live kind of in the country, and rats have been getting into his food bowl! Which is a big problem and could make him sick. I also want him to be able to eat whenever because he is fairly large and active. I looked and looked, and every infrared or rfid bowl was designed only for little dogs or cats! And sold out. So, I pondered for three straight hours - and I remembered motion detecting cans exist! I got it in today, and I showed him how to use it, and he got the hang of opening it in literally one minute and can easily eat from the makeshift plastic bowl I set into it! He's a very smart boy. I taped the sides of the lid to the can so he doesn't accidentally pull it off. But this experiment is a resounding success for both of us! And even IF the rats figure out that it somehow opens, their fat little bodies will be too heavy for the lid to open! Muahaha! And they will figure out quickly that they're unable to open it. I will be sure to bring it in during the summer because it has batteries and he won't be outside most of the time anyway. It is also underneath a large overhang that never gets wet beneath, so it's in a good spot (as the lid is water resistant, not water-proof!) Great thing about it: it doesn't close on his head while he's eating - as long as it detects an 'obstruction' it remains open. And when he walks away, it closes around 4ish seconds. Thank you Ninestars for an amazing product, and helping to keep my dog healthy, even though I know it's probably not the intended use for the product (though I have specifically trained him and encourage him to get into THIS can. Lol). Great little trash can - and yet, a wonderful food container for my big boi!

I bought this small trash can for my kitchen because, for only 2 people in the house, the 13-gallon is too large and takes longer to fill up. this small one fills up in a day or two, then just toss the trash in the big bin outside. . No more smelly kitchen trash. Most grocery bags fit in it, so no need to recycle plastic bags. Easy to clean, the motion detector is really cool

Good trash can for our bathroom. It is small. Sensor is very sensitive. Might not want to put close to the toilet. It will constantly open and close.

Works great. Perfect size for bathroom. I expect it to have long term reliability. I've had another Ninestar touchless trash/recycle can for years with no issues.

I love this little garbage can! My kids can't throw anything away to save their lives, so I put one of these in their bathroom, and another by my desk in the living room. They love how it opens automatically, and actually it encourages them to throw things away. It holds plenty and is good quality. I've had mine for over a month without changing the batteries yet. Absolutely would buy another one if I ever need another small garbage container.

I love everything about it. Small enough for tight spaces and opens easily.

The product started having issues after about 2 months of using it. Tried reaching out to the seller for availing the warranty, but after providing all docs, photos and videos, there is no response from the seller.The product itself, was working great, until it didn't. I loved the convenience of the sensor. Just want to give the product another chance before I dismiss it. But doesn't look like the seller is cooperative enough to let me.
