Top Secret Restaurant Recipes 3: The Secret Formulas for Duplicating Your Favorite Restaurant Dishes at Home: A Cookbook
F**.
One of the Best series for making copycat recipes of resturants at home!
I love these series and wish Todd Wilbur will continue to print out these volumes. The books have easy recipes to follow for some of the most favorite restaurant dishes, appetizers, drinks and desserts. The author Todd Wilbur seems to have a webpage now that offers recipes instead of further volumes. I just hope he continues to make further Volumes like Volume 4 and more!Great value especially if you want to make a favorite dish at home instead of going to the restaurant.

It's Okay
Not what I expected. Not many receipes from restaurants in my area (NW) so it was disappointing as I had no knowledge of the ones in the book and nothing to judge by. I have seen better not a lot of receipies either.

Easy to understand.
Well written, real life foods are described, meaning, things regular people want to eat....and excellent directions on how to make them.

Todd's best book
If you've enjoyed Todd Wilbur's other books then getting this is a no-brainer.I've tried 9 recipes so far:Olive Garden Breadsticks (this one is really close, other clone recipes online are so off it's sad)Olive Garden Dipping sauces for BreadsticksBuca Di Beppo Garlic BreadChili's Honey-Chipotle Chicken CrispersDenny's Cherry LimeadeFamous Dave's Wilbur BeansFleming's Prime Steakhouse Chipotle Cheddar Mac & Cheese (best mac and cheese ever!)On the Border Guacamole LiveSerendipty 3 Frrrozen Hot ChocolateUpdateMade some more:Carrabba's Spicy Sausage Lentil Soup (really good)PF Chang's Asian Pear MojitoPF Chang's Vegetarian Lettuce WrapsPF Chang's Spicy Green BeansRed Robin Campfire SauceThese are either really close or better so I feel like this is a pretty fair assessment considering I can't possibly try every recipe anytime soon. If you like the original restaurant dish, chances are you'll like his clone since they're usually pretty spot on. I'll update this if I try more recipes and they're not good clones, but given his track record I'm sure they'll be accurate. There are about 150 recipes in the book. The complete list is available on his website so no surprises here.

Love this
So many great recipes that are not too hard to make. I use this and the other books like this to make dinner for my family. We don't have a lot of money to go out to eat and I have two food allergies so going out is hard and sometimes dangerous😿 these books have made it so I can experience some food that I wouldn't get to try or order at the restaurant. I love that!! People I know that have tried these compared to the real thing say these are close or exact!!!! Also this is a fun way to get my teen to cool. He likes that he can make restaurant food. Good for making meals for an at home date too. I've made food from here for a date with my husband. If you buy most or all of the books you will have a wide selection of items from various menus... like a lot of olive garden recipes etc...

Great easy to follow recipes that are typically very close if not spot on the originals.
I absolutely love the recipes that Todd Wilbur does. I find most of the recipes to be very good clones, with some to be either spot on or even better than the originals. Additionally, I love the fact that almost all of the recipes use ingredients that MOST everyday consumers would have in their homes, instead of rare & exotic ingredients that cost insane amounts of money & are only available for 2 weeks out of the year... In specific regional locations (Anyone who is more than a novice cook knows what I'm talking about here). I have since purchased at least 6 of Todd Wilbur's books & although a few of the books have duplicate recipes, I am very happy to keep experimenting with these wonderful & easy to follow recipes.

Good book! Read the table of contents before you purchase!
I'm a big fan of Todd Wilbur and love all of his books, including this one. I have tried the BJ's restuartant white cheddar mashed potatoes, and their avocado egg rolls. Both of the recipes came out really good. I have also tried the T.G.I. Friday's tuscan spinach dip and the crispy green bean fries. Once again those recipes were just as good as the restaurants....if not better! My only suggestion is to visit [...] and view the table of contents before you purchase this book. A lot of recipes in here maybe a repeat if you own other books. If you purchased his recent book off of QVC then you'll see that a lot of the recipes in that book are in here. His website is: [...]. Besides that the book is a gem and for only $10 it will pay for itself with in two meals.

A continuation of Fantastic!
I bought #2 thinking it was one of the greatest, then Mr. Wilbur comes out with Three and it's even better. I now have about 5 recipes that are now a part of the family menu, and these books have given me the confidence to try more. I haven't failed at making one of these recipes yet, and I'm not a pro, although when I'm done and my family is praising how good everything is, I feel like it. Thank you for providing this book, Amazon, and thank you, Mr. Wilbur, for making recipes from restaurants that are cheaper, easy and ultimately satisfying. Yes, yes, YES!

expected more
Basically this was a bit of a let down for me. I expected more popular dishes and not some obscure American menus from restaurants i hadn't heard of. None the less i have tried some and they work! but wanted a bit more of the favourites. Really enjoyed the buffalo wings though

Good Selection, Good Flavors, Easy to Do
I own a couple of his other books and bought them for specific recipes. I found these ones very helpful and the flavors were great. I enjoyed, in particular, the corn bread muffins copied from Famous Dave's (although he forgot the honey glaze) and I have done the Olive Garden bread sticks a bunch of times with great success. This one has 150 recipes and the price was right. The recipes are also easy to follow. The major drawbacks, as with his other books, are the diagrams. Honestly, I know how to put a burger together. I didn't need the drinks either. Barring that I would recommend this book for those what like the foods presented. I find it particularly helpful when I don't live near some of the restaurants he copies and I need a fix.
