I'm addicted! :)
I started doing yoga regularly about 10 weeks ago. During the first two practices, my poses (especially Downward Dog) were always a little "off," and my hands and feet would sweat from the very start of the practice! I tried using my instructor's more expensive mat--to no avail. My instructor then let me borrow her Yogitoes Mat during the subsequent practices. My poses improved significantly, and I got more out of the practice not worrying about whether my hands and feet would slide out from under me. I didn't realize how much of a difference it really made, however, until she forgot to bring the Mat with her one day. That was one of my worst practices ever! It was then that I decided to suck it up and purchase my own Yogitoes Mat.I read through the reviews prior to purchasing my Mat, and the general theme seemed to be that this Mat was amazing but that it bled all over the place when washed. Here's the ways I've tried to solve that problem:1. I wash my Mat alone on a small load of laundry in warm water. I use 2 Tide Stain Catcher sheets with every load. My Mat is purple, and they always come out bright pink---but my washer isn't stained.2. I tried air-drying my Mat, but it took a while. I tossed it in the dryer after having washed it with the Stain Catchers. I took out the Stain Catchers and didn't add any dryer sheets (I hear they mess with the Mat's stickiness). My dryer has never been stained purple. I don't know if it's because I used the Stain Catchers or what.3. If you don't feel like buying the Tide Stain Catchers, I'd suggest washing as instructed (2x before your first use, alone) and then attempt to air dry the Mat.Hope this review helps!

Has pluses and minuses
I definitely love the concept for this towel. I slip a lot in certain poses and would love some help on that front. On the whole the towel helps. BUT, I find that with the towel I slip at least as much, if not more, early in a session. It does seem true that once I get really sweaty, the mat seems to get more "sticky" and I slip less, which is great. But the question is: how to get to that point earlier? Are we supposed to spray the towel down before starting? I've never tried that.I also think the towel is pretty and fairly easy to wash/care for, and I like that I can just wash the towel and not worry as much about washing my yoga mat. Plus, the prices here at Amazon are much better than I've seen elsewhere. The major drawback, for me, is that it doesnt stick well to my mat. It bunches in the back, by my feet. And I find myself looking down at it and trying to straighten it the entire time I am in a class. So, it is also distracting. You may not have this issue if it doesn't bother you that it is all bunched up at your feet. To each his own. Overall, I am glad I have it. But getting a new mat helped with the slippy-ness a lot, so if that is the only reason you have for trying the towel, try getting a new mat first. Mine was under 30$ at lululemon.

Excellent Quality Yoga Mat Towel
I love my yogitoes!. I have to say the color is not quite as the picture (in the picture it looks like pink and a gold, but its actually darker and a bit more gray)PROS:- I use it for hoy yoga and I can say it actually is a non-slip yoga mat- The towel will keep in place on your mat and floor, or carpet- Love the fact that is made using recycled plastic bottles- It's odor free (I've used it a week in a row in hot yoga)- It's lightweight- Soft and absorbent- Easy to wash and wont stain your clothCONS- Even thought I love this I still think it's pricey for a yoga towel- It's Air dry , you can't put it in the dryerI did not receive any discount or anything. I bought it myself and I'm happy with the product.

Finally, No Slipping!
I love yoga, but I'm a sweaty person, so I was finding it hard to enjoy class when I was sliding all over my mat despite being coordinated. I washed this before using it the first time, and made sure not to use fabric softener. I had the best yoga class I've had in years! I wash it after every use to for hygiene - I don't want staph! Not only does it keep me from slipping, but because you only use one side, you don't have to wash your mat nearly as often. People sometimes look at me funny when I lay this towel down on top of my mat, but it's worth the experience I get out of class when I'm not sliding around. I always wash this alone with cold water because I saw the reviews about the brighter colors bleeding onto other fabrics. I haven't noticed any fading but I'll keep washing it alone for sanitary reasons.

Changed my practice...only wish I bought this BEFORE I spent 50 bucks on a new mat!!!
This is a great product if you are a slippery yogi like me! I do mostly hatha, not even hot yoga, and still slip all over especially in downdog and wide-legged standing poses. I bought a Maha mat, in hopes that I would slip less, and, to the tune of $50, I was still slipping. SO, I went ahead and got the Yogitoes towel as a last effort to help my practice which was being ruined sometimes because of my slipping. WOW!! Finally...I stay put! I can now work on bettering the postures that I used to dread because I was spending the whole time in them just trying to stay up. I highly recommend this product BEFORE you buy an expensive mat!

Wonderful
I bought this at the same time as a new mat and love it. Even with the best skidless mat I tend to skid once I get sweaty palms. So it solves that problem when I take class. I also teach and like to have two mats in a t shape when leading yoga. This way I can use my mat on its own and cross the gym mat with the towel on top of it. Voila, no mat with someone else's germs on it for me.If you want to be sanitary but not haul around your own mat, this is a perfect solution.

Great mat towel
I love this towel. It fits my mat perfectly and barely moves when practicing. The only time it moves is when I drag my feet and it's only because I am tired and don't use enough my abs (LOL). I only use this towel when I do my hot yoga classes. It's really absorbant. I only give a 4 because I don't like the price! But it's a great towel, I would definitely recommend it.

The best hot yoga towel
This is my second skidless Yogitoes towel I've had. I've also given one as a gift. To me, there is no better towel for hot yoga. It's beautiful, good material, doesn't slide on the mat and washes well. I don't usually put my workout clothes in the dryer, but it has gone there a few times with no detrimental effects. Pick your favorite color and you won't be disappointed

Excellent
Absolutely loved this product. Have had it a couple weeks and impressed how well it stays on the mat during hot yoga. It washes up well. I wash it and hang to dry and it is dry by the next day when I need it. Would recommend.
