great brush at a great price.
I am quite happy with this brush. It's soft and absorbent and spreads soap easily on my face.. It hasn't shed. Its handle is heavier than I am used to, but people may think this is a positive feature.

Excellent shaving brush
This brush has a great form and brush head about 2” tall and 1” wide at the top. The natural bristles hold as much water as you want, or as little so you can adjust the amount of soap and lather quite easily. I use it with both a shaving soap dish/bowl (Proraso) and with a tube of Cremo. Use your fingers to spread Cremo on your face and then lather it up with a damp brush adding water as needed. The brush has performed perfectly and better than brushes costing tens of dollars more. A bigger brush knot will be harder to control, this perfect size for me. Slight complaint is that the metal handle “stand “ tens to hold water which drips into it if you stand the brush on a counter when you shave. The water then drips and down your arm when you pick the brush up again to use it. Some small drain holes in this metal handle cap would solve the problem or just don’t stand the brush on its end while you’re using it. I have used silver-tip badger brushes for 40+ years and this is one of the best and is clearly the best value. Highly recommend. Be aware of the bristle knot size when you buy. Too big is not better.

A very nice brush regardless of the price
I wanted to replace a brush that I had been using for about 12 years that was getting thin in the middle. As side note, I carry a Vikings Blade Synthetic Silvertip for travel purposes because of its synthetic construction that won't get funky if it sits in my bag being damp a little too long. However, as nice as that brush is, its a bit floppy for everyday use. I tried the Parker Premium 3 Band Pure Badger for a few weeks, and while it was OK, it still felt a bit too scratchy, so I returned it. I also tried the Rocky Mountain Barber Pure 100% Best Badger brush, and on taking it out of the box, found that it was not as oversize as they advertised. So, after a few weeks, I've found this is a very good brush that seems to exfoliate very well without being scratchy, has only shed a few bristles, and while it has a very slight smell, it is fading over time. The smell was never offensive, and is typical of natural bristle brushes. If it bothers you, then soak it according to a number of online videos out there.I was prepared to spend upwards of $80 - $100 if necessary for a good brush, but after looking through all the reviews, tried this one.In short, I'm very happy with it from a performance, look and price perspective.

Best value for the price.
I really like this shaving brush. I waited a year to see how it held up with daily use before writing a review. This brush makes good lather with the Poraso shaving cream I use. Besides the good lather it also uses less cream to make the lather. One tub ofPoraso has lasted over six months. Previously I was using three times as much. I couldn’t remember when I last bought Poraso shaving cream. After using this brush for for over a year only a couple of hairs have fallen out and that was in the first few shaves. Great quality for a fair price.

Great shaving brush for the money.
This shaving brush is very soft and dense. I like using tallow based soaps and this brush makes an excellent lather. Occasionally I'll see a few strands come off, though it's not enough to make it an issue. Overall, it may be the best brush for the money.

Extremely soft Silvertip, great reviews & great price
I am 73 years old, I have sensitive skin and a course beard. I have used everything possible to shave with on the market.I ordered the 1-Rocky Mountain Shaving Brush with Stand - Pure 100% Best Badger Hair Barber Grade with Black Heavy Duty All-Resin Handle and Oversized Bristle Head; 2-Jet & Co 100% Silvertip Badger Hair Shaving Brush, Handmade Shaving Brush with Fine Resin Handle and Stainless Steel Base (Brown).I previously have my grandfather’s Gillette Sterling 100 T badger shaving two toned brush in black and cream handle fitted with a 21 mm finest two band badger knot. This is the roughest of the two above and the smallest. When the Rocky Mountain arrived, which was huge, I was in love, and I thought for sure this will be the one I keep so obviously 5*****. Then the 100% Silvertip Badger Hair by Jet arrived the softest, for sure this will be the one I keep so obviously 5*****.I shaved several times they both continue to be excellent. So I brought in my wife’s legs and had her try all 3 brushes. She disliked the old Sterling being so course. Then she loved the Rocky Mountain because it was huge and softer. Finally she tried the Silvertip Badger and loved it. Then she tried it on the back of her legs and she loved the large Rocky Mountain! So I had made up my mind because I already had something course and small. She finally admitted that the Rocky Mountain was 5***** but so was the Silvertip. She agreed and we returned the Huge Rocky Mountain non-silvertip - but I might get it again depending upon yearnings. If you need a brush and this is your first brush get the huge Rocky Mountain you don’t need the silvertip. If you have a big face get Rocky Mountain. If you have $20 more get these 2 great 5***** brushes based on all the other reviews. You can’t make a mistake either brush but for $20 more get them both. I would have kept both of them, but I already have my grandfathers and I’m 73 how many do I really need?If you want a Silvertip get the Jet it works great. This is the one I bought and plan on keeping.

Solid build
This is a great brush. Bought it to replace one that has just worn out. This one is just great to look at and it has some heft which I like. The bristles are very nice, not too stiff or soft. There is no funky smell to it either. This is a great well made product that I highly recommend!
