My First "Vacuum" Blender. My wife loves making smoothies, so this is how I get most of my fruit intake. I was always disappointed in how much air was in them leaving me gassy. When I saw an add for a popular name brand that solved this issue I thought it was a neat idea but looked on amazon for something cheaper. While sceptical I decided on the Forton. Upon receiving it I was immediately impressed with it's quality. It took a little time to get the fruit order right because you can't shake it or stir it once it has vacuumed or you have to start over. It has an "auto" function that is very convenient once you figure out your loading method. Turn it on, press auto, it pulses a few times to stir things up then ramps up it's speed and stops when finished. Cleaning it is different than I am used to but not bad once you know how. The only CON I would say is that it is very tall, just barely fits under the cabinets if you plan to leave it out and fairly big to try to put away. I understand that this is probably required to have the functions it does but it's worth mentioning. In short I like it. My smoothies are far denser with less air in them and more pleasant to drink. The quality of the blend is very good too, skins are almost completely liquefied.

So far this is a 5/5. It’s strong, stable, and works well at every speed. All parts clean up well in the dishwasher. The suction cups keep the blender from moving during use.My only disappointment is how tall the upright brace stands. I had to find a new place, with more room, to store this blender.I haven’t used the vacuum function yet but I am excited to give it a try.I will update this review if I ever feel like it falls below a 5/5.

Product Update: I've had my Forton Vacuum Blender for 1yr and 3 months - I only used it for about 6 months during that time. Soon after I purchased it it started leaking from the bottom, I even emailed the seller about this issue but I received no response. I've removed the blade and gently cleaned the whole bottom area and replaced it numerous times...but it kept leaking and the leak got worse and worse until today after blending a full jar of delicious (and expensive) smoothie, when I picked the jar up off the base, the entire blade/washer unit just FELL OUT! I caught it with one hand, but not before the entire smoothie had spilled over the unit, the counter and into the sink.I hope Forton continues to refine their product because it does have a lot of awesome features. The only part that didn't work was the blade/jar connection at the bottom. The poor blade/jar connection also caused the vacuum function to cease functioning early on, since lots of air leaked in at the same time liquid was leaking out of the bottom.So, now I'm back to the drawing board, in the market for a new blender. I hate to throw all that plastic, glass, the motor, the blade etc into a landfill - its so waste full.Original Review:I LOVE my Forton Vacuum Blender!!! I've been using it everyday for the last 4-5 months to make my Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie a la Anthony William. I absolutely love the big glass carafe. The whole blender feels very well made and substantial. From the grippy suction feet at the bottom to the suction lids at the top the whole unit is extremely well designed.The suction feet are so secure I can walk out of the room while its blending - no need to hover around or hold the lid with one hand and the base with the other as I used to do with my old 30 yr old blender! I love the automatic settings provided by the buttons - they're pretty much all I use, so once the jar is securely in place and the top arm clicks into the lid I just press one of the auto buttons and then I'm free to clean up the kitchen or go get ready for work in another room.It blends everything effortlessly like a champ - the end result is really fine - I use frozen blueberries every day and I include orange peel along with other fruit and greens. (I do cut up the orange peel into small pieces). I also really love the vacuum function - it works perfectly and very effectively on both the large glass blending jar as well as the plastic To-Go carafe. I really appreciate the plastic travel container - its big enough to hold all my smoothie and travels well with its vacuum seal. When I'm ready for my smoothie at work, when I release the vacuum seal and remove the lid, the level of the smoothie drops down over 1/2" - showing how much oxygen was removed!My smoothies stay completely blended and never separate due to the vacuum function. With my old blender, by mid-morning my smoothies would be separated and in the beginning stages of spoilage.I was initially skeptical of the "self-cleaning" function as I'm used to unscrewing the base and taking it all apart to thoroughly rinse and dry...but I'm a believer now! After rinsing out I fill it 1/3rd full with water and a squirt of dish soap then put it back on the base and using the knob I run it for about 20 seconds, then rinse again and that's it!Tip: For the vacuum seal to work properly you need to align the "bump out" on the lid with the pour lip on the jar and set the jar in the base so that the pour lip is pointing directly at the vertical arm - its all in the accompanying instructions.I highly recommend this wonderful vacuum blender - I thank it everyday : )

This is what i wanted. and i got it at lightning deal by chance. this is the best food processor i have ever used. it is a little expensive than the old ones i had before. but every dollar counts and it is worthy to have this new one.

Vacuum blender! After reading lots of blogs I decided to try this blender with vacuum feature. I hate the discoloring of the juice and the bad taste after you blended some whole food fruits and sit it aside then all the sudden they go bad. Now with this new feature, I can save them longer and they taste way better
