Quality binoculars at a great price
Was a little reluctant about buying these as price was so low but genuinely delighted with them. I am an 'average' birder who can identify most things and bought these as my original Lidl 10 x 50s bought a couple of years ago were too big to just take on a short walk. These binoculars are half the weight of those and a better form factor. They have more magnification (can confirm using side by side) and are much clearer. They also have good design features such as the attached lens caps at both ends which will protect the lenses. My only grumbles might I be a bit of fuzziness at the edges of the circles, and nowhere to attach the bins to a tripod like some have, but I've never used that anyway.

Great binoculars!
These are amazing for the price. I just wanted a pair for casual bird spotting and these do the job very very well. They're easy to focus and set up using the instructions and they come with all the straps and a case to carry them around in. Also they're not too heavy or oversized. I highly recommend these.

Great value, great quality for a great price!
An optimistic purchase based on their advertised specs and reasonable offer price as I fancied some light 12 x 42 binos to add to my collection but thought I would struggle to hold glasses of this magnification steady. Straight out of the box the quality of presentation, accessories and the instructions provided impressed and I am pleased to report they were equally good in use.Lightweight, pleasantly sharp, easily focused and with minimal level of chromatic fringing for the price in against the light use at their regular price of circa £30 with an ok case, eyepiece covers and neoprene strap they are a decided steal! Ideal for garden or leisure use when walking or hiking (when the light weight is a real bonus). These binos do not profess to be high end but as a regular user of £200 to £300 glasses by such as Hawke and Opticron they are still eminently useable for the casual nature lover and your neck and shoulder muscles will thank you.

Incredible quality for the price
Ridiculously good quality for the price. Well assembled, controls all damped. Case and extras provided too. Just excellent for casual distance observation.

Currently using these glasses on holiday and the spectical these offer is fantastic. Beautiful product, lightweight, so simple to use and the detail these pick up even from several miles is excellent…

Good build quality, vision and price
I was looking for inexpensive first pair of binoculars to take on holiday, to try out a bit of Whale/Puffin spotting, looking at nature. I didnt want to over spend, was concerned they might get lost/dropped, dropped overboard etc etc, etc.Did a great job, nice clear vision, easy to use, light to carry, nice shoulder bag too.Build quality felt robust, precise, surprised at this price point. Sure more experienced twitchers, will have an arsenal of pro gear, but this is a good start.A happy addition to travel pack!

Not for tall people! Otherwise amazing for the price.
As other reviewers have said, for the money I paid it is not worth the trouble of returning them. They are OK binoculars but for the money they are amazing.I weighed them at 544g including lens caps. They are relatively compact compared to porro binoculars but have a certain heft to them and have comfortable rubberised handling. The diopter adjustment for the right eye (marked only as "- 0 +") works well. There is the conventional central focussing knob too. I would estimate minimum focussing distance at around 10m.There is noticeable chromatic aberration (CA) manifesting itself as a red/purple fringe on one side of contrasty objects and blue o the other but it is not too bad. I suspect the coating is only on the front of the front lenses and the back of rear lenses with no coating inside.I can't comment on their water-resistance as they are only described as 'splash-resistant', i.e. NOT waterproof and I would not want to test them.Others have commented on the actual magnification versus the quoted 12x. All I can say is they have more magnification than my trusted 8x Japanese binoculars - I could easily believe somewhere in the range of 10-12x.By far the worst aspect for me is that even at 'wide open' they are not wide enough for the distance between my eyes. If I put my eyes right up to them only one side works. If I rest them instead on my forehead and place a distance between them and by eyes then I can see through both sides, if I am very careful. Then I am 6'4" and have a larger head than almost all Chinese people. This is a serious issue that for the same of a few mm or extra degrees on the hinge could have been avoided. The chances are I will take them on holiday and give them away to a member of staff. Nobody expects a pair of binoculars as a tip (or perhaps wants one)! The similarly specced Leica Noctivid 10x42 binoculars sell for 100x (one hundred times) more. I would like to try a pair of those but I have less money than sense :-)

Good binoculars
Decent for the price.Has its limitations. Not ideal if you are after pinpoint clarity but great for the family for general binoculars. The phone attachment is good but maybe consider a tripod attachment for stillness.Decent carry case.Easy to use and focusGood size
