Empty Watercolor Tins Palette Paint Case Metal Box with 40 Pcs Half Pans Carrying Magnetic Stripes on The Bottom

I bought this palette when I was first getting started with watercolor. The palette was used with half pans filled with tube paint. I was concerned about rust so I spray painted the interior. I like the slim profile of the palette because I often paint in areas with limited space. I also really like the rose motif - it is so pretty!

This is my second tin that I bought for gouache. I bought a first one for watercolor. Why I really like this one is that the magnets were already attached to the bottom of the half pans and made it super simple to put the paint in them. There is a way to put magnets on the bottom of the pans but this made it so much easier and it was well worth the extra two dollars to get that feature.

I cannot stress this enough, this is curled metal in the edges. You don't need to clean it. Put your soap away! The edges are sharp as blender blades. I cut the living heck out of my finger trying to run it over the inside lip. This thing is a handy little paint carrier. I can pack everything I need in it and still have more than enough paints in the tube if I need backup. You don't need to get crazy cleaning this thing. Sanitize it and move on. This is my second one and I plan on buying more in the future. It has about a hundred uses.

The magnets are already glued to the half pans! I used my own pans because the paint I got the palette for came in full pans! I cut down a piece of disposable palette paper and used glue dots to attach inside the (silver) lid! Works great!

Exactly as advertised, exactly what I wanted and came in early!

Really happy with the purchase...I use the pallete to store my diy metallic watercolor...

This case is sturdy and does the job. No assembly required.

Although I liked the floral on the cover, the paints get all over the foam enclosure and the top does not secure tightly. this is important with Paint. I have other tins for watercolors that I will re-order. They need a hinge and this product the top is separate. As I said, it looks good.
