Great idea, the craftsmanship on it is lacking. Trouble with buttons and the clip snapped.

Best pen for on-the-go doodling. You don’t need 10 ink colors some other single pens have if you have some decent knowledge of color mixing.

I found this pen to be fine. Is it perfect? No. It's one of those 4-in-1 pens, so it has its quirks. Those kinds of pens always do. However, the CMYK is what makes this pen so useful and different! I enjoy sketching in the process printing colors and the 4-in-1 makes a lot of sense for that purpose. It's convenient and cool!

Disappointing build quality for the price. Didn't come in packaging shown so there was no mixing examples. Came with a pad of paper where every page was completely covered in the same advertising copy so that went straight into recycling.

I bought the CMYK Pen on impulse in my local art supplies store for $8. That was a decent price for it; I wouldn't recommend paying much more than that. It's fun for scribbling and field sketching. It's small and convenient to carry, and unlike most four-color pens, it has yellow! It's not very rugged, but it's fine if you don't get rough with it. The only reasons I didn't give it four stars are the Amazon price, and the fact that you can't get refill cartridges. When the ink runs out, you need a whole new pen.

I really love the idea of a CMYK pen!Unfortunately this is just the CMY part of it, no K (black). Black ballpoint pena certainly aren’t difficult to come by, but for something specifically advertised as CMYK, I’d expect four ink colors, not three.Additionally, the pen itself feels very lightweight and fragile. A word of advice : if your ballpoint pen isn’t distributing ink (like my magenta, in this product) simply touch the tip of the pen to a lighter for a few seconds, then try again. Works like a charm, unlike this pen, which works like a toddler - colorful and interesting but ultimately not particularly reliable.
