Worked like a charm perfect

I installed this on a CAV pump attached to a Perkins 4-236 driving a Cat-416 backhoe. Fit and finish matched the previous shutoff solenoid and installation was straightforward. I doubt the solenoid had cycled more than 300 times before it started leaking diesel fuel from the spade connectors and failed - bad internal seal. As the part from CAT is $123 bucks, you just have to ask yourself if keeping a spare on hand and cycling through solenoids every six months is what you want to do. No idea how long the OEM part will last, but I'm now rolling the dice with the expensive part (in stock at the local dealer - which should tell me something).
