Astro Boy Omnibus, Volume 1

crafted in 1951. this masterpiece author is called GOD of manga for a reason. this is claimed to be 1# most important manga of all time for a reason.an important thing to mention - this Darkhorse edition is made to be read left to right! :)

Really good book. Lots of stories. Amazing drawings. Don't listen to the bad reviews as I nearly did. They explain in the introduction why the stories are out of sync and why some of the colouring is different. The book is great quality and thick and it's thick because it's got loads of content.

Great stories. When Dark Horse was doing omnibus editions of Astro Boy I was hoping they would be reprinted larger. They are not. If you have the previous Dark Horse sets, this is exactly the same as them except there is more content to each release, and the paper quality seems somewhat better (the previous sets have all discoloured).I would like Astro Boy reprinted in a larger format, but this is still acceptable for most readers. Just do not double dip thinking this is a step up from the previous Dark Horse releases.
