Ok... I am a 47 year old man... and I loves me some cherry koolaid. I drink it with a sugar substitute and I drink about a gallon a day. It's mostly water and high in vitamin c.It's a relatively healthy refreshing drink. It is also cheap. Like... dirt cheap. And I also love grape, but cherry... man that's where it's at.And if your water has a minerally taste... or whatever. It makes all water taste awesome. It is so easy to make... a child can make it.You pour the packet in some water. Add your sweetener of choice... shake it up baby, even twist and shout while you make it... then whammo it's made. Stick in the fridge and drink when you want it.You control the sugar content. Splenda or other sugar substitutes work great with it. So MUCH better than a soda. And if you drink as much as I do... this huge pack is what you need. Saves a bunch over buying it at the store.

I go through a quarter of a gallon a day and this was a very cost effective way to buy it.

I don't know what has happened in the past to bring down review stars. I got all my boxes. Everything was perfect.

I was looking for a reasonable supply as it's hit or miss at my local stores for cherry flavor. My roommates grew up on this and for them this is a treat. If you are looking for a real supply for the real product, the 4 "trays" (the red consumer packaging on top a "tray") came in a factory case (the brown box below). Could not be more pleased, and my roommates were happily surprised to see so many packets.Unfortunately some of the negative reviews on this product are people who are trying Kool-Aid for the first time. Who don't know that this is an unsweetened product. No credibility to someone who purchases a large bulk order of something that they never tried before. Or used a substitute sweetener and expected some other results. They should have tried just tried a single package for 30 cents before buying in bulk.

Our entire family loves cherry kool-aid and being able to buy in bulk like this really saves money. One star off because every once in a while, the powder is missing from the pouch!

I'm a bit slow in reviewing this, as I've bought it four times now, but very happy. Husband LOVES cherry kool-aid, so we try to always have a gallon of it made in our refrigerator. The unsweetened cherry flavor is not always available locally, and costs more when we buy the individual packets in the store, or in the 5 packs. Buying 192 packets at one time is awesome, saves me $ and time as I am not having to hunt down what store has it in stock. Even better, now I only have to make my bulk buy every other month to satisfy husband's Kool Aid Addiction.The individual packets are identical to the ones we get in stores. It arrives in a stock box like you see the stockers in stores opening up. When you open that up, there are 4 smaller, thinner boxes inside the bigger box, and in each of those smaller thinner boxes are 48 packets. The smaller thinner boxes have a tear away panel just like the ones in the grocery store, so it even comes with it's own temporary storage for the flavor packets which makes storing in the pantry easier.

I use 2 packs and 2 tablespoons liquid sucralose in 24 ounces water to make a cherry "syrup" for my sodas and shaved ice. Of course you may have to play with amount to find one you like. Ends up less than 1/2 the price of DaVinci syrup!

Best flavor, good price . I sweeten with a mix I make of Stevia, Allulose, Erythrytol, Monk Fruit. Mixing boosts sweetness while eliminating Strvia's slight bitterness
