We already had a small train set but we didn’t have enough track to really play the way our daughter wanted. This was a great addition to what we already had.

This is a great set! Goes well and fits with our Kidkraft train table and set. They seem to be even better quality than the Kidkraft pieces.I'm not sure what people are talking about the pieces being one sided- ours were all double sided except the straight pieces which don't need to be double sided anyway.

Fits well with existing Brio/Thomas etc track. Might be a little rough, but then I'm comparing brand new track with some well played pieces, plus its cheaper than the top end stuff at essentially $1 a piece. If you need to expand (and what child does not want 'more track') I highly recommend it. Slight warning re-durability ratings. It's only been in my son's hands a few hours, so perhaps he could damage it, but at worst I just need to get out the trusty wood glue.

This is a nice set of track to add some complexity to your wooden railway. The quality is very high and the connectors work well. The various switches and crossings allow for many different layouts. The male-male and female-female adapters are essential!I wish there were two more short curved pieces, though.

My 4yo son got these for Christmas (2012) and they have been FANTASTIC. He already had a huge selection of tracks - of a variety of brands - and these are a wonderful addition to his train addiction :)They're made well, lovely and smooth, high quality. There is a great selection of pieces, to assist in making complex train track set ups.I will be buying more of this set for him, as it is a great addition! Very happy with our purchase!

Perfect to expand my children's track set. They had started to build a really cool track, but were short a few pieces so I added this to fill in the gaps. Worked perfectly.

These tracks are the perfect addition to our Thomas/Chuggington collection and at a fraction of the price! Perfect for my 3 year old son and his love for "choo choo's"

We were disappointed that the items were one sided which limits their versatility. We often needed the right handed version but only had the left handed version left. Otherwise it was a fine set and we really liked the x track.
