A miracle in a tub that is safe, truly unstinky, and works great even for a total amateur
I don't know what is in this product but it is miraculous in several ways: 1) virtually no smell 2) virtually no skin irritation since of course I got some on me 3) it actually WORKS like I could never have believed 4) relatively easy to clean up afterwards. I am strictly amateur without a lot of "crafting" space, but I had an idea that I would strip the gross ancient thick ugly paint from an antique wooden box. So... mineral spirits, sanding, steel wool, various miscellaneous hardware store paint removal products later, I was totally about to give up, the paint was winning the war. In desperation I turned to Amazon and found this product and I thought ok, one last ditch effort. Opened the box, (fought with the lid on the tub which says to use a 'coin' to pry it off and that is impossible, you have to use a big honking screwdriver) and just started slathering this stuff on the box. I literally put a regular garbage bag laid flat on my kitchen island with some extra newspaper, put on some plastic gloves and used a foam brush to do the slathering which i washed with just soap and water afterward. Since I was pretty much not even believing this was going to work I just used a ton of the product and spread a really thick paste over most of the painted areas just like I was somewhat haphazardly frosting a cake. Then when everything was covered i laid some saran wrap over the wet areas (maybe not totally necessary, who knows) and let it just sit overnight.Next morning: I'm expecting that either nothing at all happened (remember, this stuff is like the consistency of cinnamon roll frosting and it doesn't smell or burn your skin or seem corrosive in any way) or my entire kitchen island was going to be melted like the witch in the Wizard of Oz. The reality? I put a fresh pair of gloves on, grabbed a roll of paper towels, and LITERALLY just wiped the paint off. This ancient heavy coat of paint I'd been fighting with for days was totally liquified. It is a messy gloppy job, just like it would be if you decided to wipe the frosting off a cake, but it was surprisingly easy. In full disclosure, since I hadn't quite been a believer when I started, I did have to do a few areas again because I hadn't thoroughly 'frosted' everything but I would not make that mistake again. Anyway, after some serious wiping down I finished cleaning all the surfaces with some of the other stuff i already had, steel wool, mineral spirits etc. I plan to let it dry out real well for a day or two and will use Briwax to put a new finish on the box, but was so amazed by how well this product works I rushed to put my glowing positive review out. Total success!!

Easy and effective to use.
If you want something to take the paint off the cement then this is the product for you. It is extremely easy to apply and then wait a few hours preferably overnight and the paint will just come right off especially if you use a pressure washer. So much easier than any other product that I have used.

Works well and fast!
Used this on my cabinets & works well for stripping many old layers of paint. It needs to be slopped on there fairly thick. I covered with plastic wrap and waited about an hour- you’ll see it change colors. DO NOT LET DRY. Container says you can spray with water if it does dry, but I do not suggest that. I suggest adding more of the product.

Wow! I'm so happy with this!
Wow! This made a project I'd been dreading SO easy. I found this table for a song, but the top was painted and needed stripping which I have never done before. When I was watching how to videos on Youtube, I saw a video about this product. It is AWESOME. I painted on a thick coat before bed, then covered with saran wrap. The next morning the paint came right off in just a few minutes using a plastic scraper. The pics show scraping in process, the result after scraping but before cleaning, then the result after cleanup with just some soapy water and clean rags. Now I just have to sand it a bit and it's done! Also, I did this indoors, and there was NO odor.

Had high hopes but it was not to be.
I was looking for an alternative to that “orange stuff” because the chemical smell on it filled my small house and gave everyone headaches. So I read the reviews on this and thought why not. TBH it was a waste of money. I have an older house 70’s ish maybe. Little older and have real hardwood shiplap type going up half my walls. It’s been painted from what I can tell at least 3 times over a stain vanished type of finish. I used almost the whole tub on 4-6 planks around 3 feet tall around 6 inches wide. I followed the instructions applied liberally and waited the recommended 1 hour. By the time I got back to it the gel was completely dry and nothing scraped off. So I applied another light coat let it sit for another15-20 mins and again started scraping. The gel drys so quickly. So I then started applying it letting it sit for a min to 5 before I’d come back and scrape. This was with some major muscle behind it. Things finally started to scrape off, however for the price of the tub, which I believe was a quart at $25 it would take me $5000 in product to complete my project and I would still have to use major muscle to remove the paint so unfortunately, I’m going back to the orange stuff, but at least that stuff works quick.

Good for small job
Great if you need for a small pretty easy job. Low VOC is great but didn’t remove well. For what it is advertised for, works as expected but to really get material off go for something stronger
