Gemstone Globe Paperweight with Opalite Ocean Color: Bahama Blue, Size: 3"

I got this to accent a model of the Hubble Space Telescope which is mounted over the globe simulating hovering over it. It weighs enough to make the display very sturdy. But on it's own, this object is well made and attractive. Unlike some of the other paper weights, this one is well worth the money. Larger than I anticipated, the color is true, and it is what you would want it to be. The gem stones are beneath the surface so that the whole sphere is smoothe to the touch. You won't peel off the surface features. At $30, this one is a steal! I have the Bahama Blue. It IS a beautiful color.

Truly a beautiful piece. I wasn't expecting much--just wanted something pretty to display on a bookshelf. With its gold meridian lines and jewel-like colors, it looks very expensive. Also comes in a gorgeous keepsake box--would make a great present.

Very nice gemstone globe, attractive packaging. Good quality, very smooth. Includes a card that describes how the globes are made and names the stones that represent each country, which adds a nice touch.
