Big digital photo frame with decent price
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Amazing big digital photo frame for a great price. Got this couple of weeks back and it’s been bringing colors to our life with lots of our memories. Normally we used to take photos and store them in cloud or some backup hard disks. It’s a rare case where we go back to cloud/backup hard disk to browse the old photos. With this photo frame I randomly choose some random old picture folders and that’s it, lots of old memories comes alive. Enough about my personal experience, lets come to the product. To be frank was looking for a decent digital photo frame with average cost but a little bigger one, so that i can either hang on my wall or on my big side table. After browsing through couple of them finally selected this one for its bigger size, cost and of course features it was offering. After use of couple of weeks, it’s still running smooth. I love this big 12 inch photo frame with nice bright led screen. It’s not a touch screen, but neither was I looking for one which is making the frames so costly. It’s a decent photo frame with very simple settings to configure. Plays music as well along with picture slideshows. Specs say runs movie as well but have never tested, i use my iPad for that purpose. But should be useful to play short clips taken in camera. Picture quality is great, it’s able to display high resolution picture taken by Nikon d5500 dslr camera. Comes with a decent remote, which absolutely satisfies the need. It supports both USB and SD Card as source of media. I can customize the settings based on my need (Sound or slideshow timer or date/mode, auto power-on/off etc.). It’s definitely a decent digital photo frame and I am happy with my purchase.

Spend a few minutes learning it and it is really easy to use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is my first Digital Photo Frame, yes I know I am behind the times a little bit :)I would say the best place to start is with the video I have recorded and attached above. In it I go through some of the basic uses and how to get around and how to use it. I was a little frustrated with it at first because I kept wanting to touch the screen to do things. In the Smart phone day and age this can be frustrating, but as I mentioned in the video, if you spend a few minutes it gets easier and more comfortable. I also mentioned in the video that this is a Digital Photo Frame and you won't be constantly playing around in it, it is more a set it up and then let it do it's job.... show you pictures and videos. There are a couple things that I find troublesome with it, but not enough to keep from giving it 5 stars because, frankly, they are just menu type things and don't affect the main use of the Digital Picture Frame. The first is that the clock mode 12/24 does not work, both ways it is set the clock stays in 24 hour mode. I would venture to say that for 99% of the people that are buying a Digital Photo Frame, they don't care about the time or even the date, because they bought it to show pictures and videos. The other thing is that changing the settings, in this case the time, is extremely slow and frustrating. You would think that each time you click the button the count would go up or down, but sometimes it takes hitting the button 2 or 3 times to get it to change. Again, see my statement above about what the device is designed for and does this really matter?I really liked it, I can see it sitting on my desk at home or at the office for a long time.

The EO2 has a great display, is super functional
The EO2 has a great display, is super functional, very easy to use and looks great on my wall. As far as quality of the physical product goes it's an easy 5 out of 5. I hung the display in my kitchen and it's fun to see everything from Monet to a dog/squirrel showdown gif displayed depending on my mood. Where the display really shines is with motion art, stuff like you can find on Reddit at /r/Cinemagraphs/I have built several playlists that change the displayed art every15 minutes so there is always something fresh to look at. The EO2 app (I use on iPhone) and website offer up a ton of great art for free and there is more available on a $9.99/monthy subscription, you can also upload your own content. I don't use the subscription service as I can't justify another subscription in my life and there is more than enough art at my disposal as is.Another great feature is the ability to set a sleep and wake time, my EO2 turns on at 6am and shuts off at 11pm. So far no hiccups there. My one-star deduction stems from the fact that all the ability to display art on the EO2 resides on EO servers. You cannot store content and host it locally on a computer or personal server. That leaves me with a few concerns:EO is a startup, they've been around for a few years and seem to be doing well, but if they fail and the servers go away, my art will go away with them. Then I'll be left with a piece of unsupported hardware with no way to display art.Privacy, if you want to display your own art or photography you have to upload it to EOs servers. You can set it to private but we all know how well that's gone for the internet of things lately.I would love, love, love for a local app that would allow me to display local content without using EOs servers. Or at the least the ability to backup my chosen content.
