Worked so well, warning noise seems to do the job now!
Great Collar, we have a Mali who is very energetic and eager to learn. We was struggling before and had tried it all, she isn’t motivated by treats or anything and this was the last resort. It may look cruel but can honestly say there is no pain, instant responses from her and the warning is a great system. We now find the warning works most of the time with no need to buzz her.Distance appears to be longer than expected, batteries are great and we have only had to charge once over the time we have owned it so far (5-6 weeks) And build is just fine. The remote could be a little nicer and buttons a little clearer but once you test it out you get the idea!

Didn’t work for my pup but great company to deal with.
This is a great product but doesn’t work for my stubborn dog which is a shame. Such a great idea but my Border Terrier pup is quite strong willed and not very bothered by the vibration or bleep. The collar is very long so would fit a big dog but can be cut to size. Easy to set up and use. Customer service was fantastic and the free gift of a bright orange flashing lead exceeded my expectations. You hear the word ‘free’ and expect it to be crap but we literally use it every day, it’s better than the actual lead I bought him so would happily buy from them again as their products are great quality.

Ineffective for Headstrong Dogs
Long review short - If you have a headstrong dog or a big dog then this is useless.Vibrations - The vibrations this emits is not even as strong as your mobile phone when it is on vibrate. Our dog is 26KG and a staffy and this doesn't even annoy him - he looks around as if to say "Is there a fly in here?" and it doesn't phase him one bit. Before using it on the dog we tried it in the palm of our hands (weren't going to use something on our dog we were not sure was safe and wouldn't severely harm him) and could barely tell it was on. We then tried it placed on the flesh part of the upper arm - doesn't even tickle really. Then thought fine, it goes on the dog's neck so I'll put it there and honestly I've made more vibrations in my throat gargling mouthwash!Ease of Use - It's badly designed insofar as the collar (which has the vibration device and beep noise box on it) turns itself off to save power yet the remote doesn't. So if the dog's had it on all day, you have to get up and push the button on the collar to power it up in order for it to beep or vibrate when you press the remote. Seems counter productive to me as by the time I've done that, the dog is thinking "Yaaaay! Attention!!"Battery Life - Seems pretty decent but then I think the battery life is going to depend on how much you're using it it (as in, how much are you needing to buzz or beep the device at the dog). We have only needed to about 4-6 times in a day and the battery lasts all day for us. So it's hard to say but common sense says more use would means faster charge is drained.Range - Very good from what I can tell. The dog can be downstairs in the living room acting up and barking and I can hear it beep when I am upstairs pressing it. We've not used it outside though as our dog doesn't need it when out and about.Price - Paid over £40 and considering it has done barely anything at all then I would call that expensive.I got this as our staffy is a great big baby and a bit of a brat (I say that with all the love in my heart though). He's not aggressive, doesn't have issues being called back - just he whines at us whenever he doesn't get his own way. For example, he'll have everything he needs like have had breakfast, gone out for a good long walk, socialized with a pal or two on the way back, had belly rubs and a treat but because we'll then need to do stuff with our day (hubby works from home and needs to pay attention to work and I need to get on with paperwork and housework as I work nights and run a small company) it means not giving him our undivided attention so he sits close by and makes this piercing, high pitched whine, continuously until we say "Right you, to the naughty step!". At which point he leaves the room for about 5 minutes in a sulk to sit on the landing. Another example is we'll be watching movies and cause he wants to pin his doggo-dad down and lick his face (which he's not allowed to when hubby's had a shave), he'll emit his glass splitting whine until he either gets his own way or is told to have a time-out. It's frustrating as we know that responding (in anyway) is giving him attention and technically rewarding bad behavior and then he's happy because he's got our attention but doesn't realize it is negative attention. This collar hasn't changed anything because simply putting it, our big boy doesn't register that it's even there. We preserved and tried it for 2 months before giving up on it and have had more joy out of shaking an empty tin with stones in it at him!

Effective gadget
This collar is easy to use. It doesn't harm and the dog takes notice of it so after the first day I only had to show the hand set to stop bad behaviour indoor. However, the screws of the vibrating box kept falling out. Didn't have much grip and have been lost whilst the dog was wearing collar. I have no idea how to get new ones. Please help. Otherwise a good device.

Exactly as advertised
I can't fault the dog training collar: it's waterproof, easy to use, etc. The only problem is it doesn't stop the behaviour - to prevent my dog from eating other dog's poo - which was the only reason I bought it for. This training collar was never advertised for this purpose so I can't complain. It seemed promising at first but success has been limited. I think if I had this when my now 3 year-old lab was a younger puppy it might have been more effective.

Vibration not strong enough
My dog Luna is a Springer/Vizler cross and has a strong chasing instinct especially cats and squirrels , basically I wanted to use collar for recall to stop her chasing and not coming back until she feels like it. For the first week it worked very well and she came back every time but she has realized that the beep means she will get a slight vibration and noise on her neck and does not bother her at all so is back to what she was doing. The vibration level does not seem to be any stronger what ever level you put it on.Maybe it is faulty? but anyway does not work
