I love it, very pretty and lightweight. I’ll use it to hold muffins etc for my husband in the mornings. It is very delicate but I give my husband a warning against being rough with it. I think it’s a little pricey but I can see the quality in it’s design and craftsmanship. I needed a straight sided tall cake plate topper so the tops of my baked items don’t get smudged. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Found this beautiful crystal pedestal stand, and plexi glass dome just didn't do it justice. This beautiful European glass piece does it justice!

I bought this for the size more than the style (it can be difficult finding a 12” cake stand cover), but is an attractive design. The glass is heavy enough to feel sturdy. My cover has no bubbles or flaws. Because it does not have a sloped top, there is plenty of room for tall or decorated cakes. Finally, the thing was packed so well for shipping that I think the delivery service would have pithed it over my fence and would have resume intact.As for “value for money,” I think the price is higher than it should be, and definitely more than I would pay locally for an equivalent product. But since I could not find a 12” cover locally, that is a moot point.

I searched everywhere for a glass cake dome. I ended up doing alot of shopping in stores and online. But, ended up doing alot of returns as well. Although, this dome is pricey. It was just what I was looking for. It has weight, height, and elegance.

Looks like hand blown glass but is more sturdy, however, does look like it could break easily if you are not careful. I love it and is exactly what I wanted for over my glass cake pedestal to show off my baked goods. The glass is very clear and shiny, gives a great presentation.

Great oversized glass cake dome. Tall enough for a 3 layer frosted cake! Because of the large diameter, I needed to purchase a plate to be used with it. Found one on Amazon for around $20.

While this cake dome is beautiful, the measurements are wrong so I have to return it. I bought it to put on top of my Mosser glass 12" cake plate. The inside dimensions on my cake plate are 11 6/8" so I thought this dome would fit perfectly because it says the exterior dimensions are 11.5" or 11 4/8". Well the exterior dimensions are actually 11 7/8" So it is just a touch too big. I also thought it was very thin glass. It was comparable to the thickness of a wine glass. I am looking for something more substantial.
