Great design and quality.
All works as advertised. Drain catches most bits and seals well when closed. Bowl takes dinner plates well and uses less water than filling the sink. Softer than hard ceramic on crockery. Basket on back fits washing up liquid and sponges so they can drain away at their leisure. Fits the sink like a glove. Check Q&As for sizes as base is narrower than top to accommodate sloping sinks. Can't comment on long term cleaning. Perfect match with Joseph Joseph drainer. Love it. I'm a happy saddo.

A washing bowl as a talking point? OH YES!
I never thought I’d find myself in the position to be voluntarily writing a review for a washing-up bowl, but here we are! I’m doing so because it’s brilliant! The plug in the base is ingenious and I like how the bowl is raised off the base of the sink with its inbuilt feet. It’s pretty easy to clean. Wish the drainer was a little bit deeper (it’s not as deep as the main bowl). Because it’s not so deep, my dish brush falls over, so I only keep my sponges in the storage bit and have another little pot on the side of my sink. It’s a minor point on an otherwise brilliant design.

Very sturdy and compact
Perfect fit in sink, Looks great, just what I wanted to tidy my sink area and have what I need to hand. The twist plug makes emptying bowl easy and it the bowl is easy to clean. Expensive but worth every penny. Make sure you measure your sink before ordering.

Very impressed
Let's face it, it's a lot to pay for a washing up bowl. But .... It's worth it. The functionality is great, the size of the main compartment is better than it looks, the draining plug is very useful, and the whole thing is very sturdy so you're confident lifting it if it's got water in. The drainers on the end are brilliant. Does away for the need for a separate cutlery drainer

Looks good. Feels sturdy. Versatile storage section. Expensive.
Looks smart and organised. Good build quality. The strain/drain device is straightforward, works well, and cleans easily by hand. Water drains out as fast as down the normal sink hole. Sometimes the last small amount of water fails to drain out and has to be pushed.I like that the Bowl has proper handles - it's easier to lift when the Bowl is full, instead of having to lift it by its rim as with some washing-up bowls. As the handles are raised, I can put a small dishcloth over a handle to dry, or hang a dishbrush.I love the Store compartment because the usage is versatile. I used to put a jug in the sink to house tall thin things waiting to be washed up, just flung them in as I cooked, to stop them being lost at the bottom of the bowl - bad as regards blades. Now, I use the Store section on this Bowl, and it gives the impression that I have an organised system! The Bowl looks and feels the same as the Joseph Joseph Wash & Drain washing-up bowl (and in fact the bowl size is the same), bought in September 2014, and I see no reason why this Bowl should not last as well. The Store section has three compartments - two small and one large. A minor niggle is that I'd've liked the Store compartment to be even more flexible by having small, medium and large.Over-priced at 35quid but "I just had to have it", top marks otherwise. For me, it's an 'essential luxury' :-)This would be good to take camping or anywhere you want to keep bowl and washing-up liquid, cloths/brushes etc. together (I find they tend to wander otherwise!).If interested, a rack of the Joseph Joseph Connect Adjustable 3-Piece Dishrack (ASIN B00LMCWAYO) fits neatly and exactly into this Bowl, for washing or rinsing things in the sink/Bowl.

Best Washing Up Bowl Ever!
I never thought I would get excited over a washing up bowl but this one will do it- great design- love the fact it has a drainer like the sink- the end pocket is great for storing washing up liquid and sponge- it has slight legs so doesn't sit on the sink floor, hence not getting grubby like washing up bowls do at the bottom- great design and looks really good- great quality- will never go back to a cheap plastic washing up bowl again now! :)

This bowl is kind to my back.
It seemed a lot to pay for a bowl, but I decided to go for it, and have no regrets.I am well over 6' tall, and get backache if I spend any time with my hands in the sink. For a while I tried using two cheap bowls one inside the other, to raise it up higher, but it didn't really work, and emptying it was likely to tip water everywhere. What I like about this bowl.○ It has its own drain, so you don't have tip the bowl to empty it - just reach in and give the plug a twist.○ Presumable to help it drain, it is raised up on legs a little. This is what saves my back; it may only be an inch or so, but I haven't had a backache through washing up since buying it.○ Nice little drainer area at the side - they show this being used for sponges and the like, but I use mine for cutlery and utensils waiting to be cleaned.○ Because the bowl is a bit smaller than many bowls, it wastes less hot water, and - presumably as it is raised off the sink - it seems to keep hotter for longer. However, it is still big enough for my largest plates. All in all, a bit of a success.

Quite simply the best washing up bowl I have ever had!
I have been looking at Joseph Joseph products for some time and was a little disappointed with an item of theirs I had previously. There is no doubt about it that their products are not the cheapest around and I don't normally like to 'buy cheap, buy twice'. However, I have bought many cheap washing up bowls over the years, and thought it was time to 'invest' in a better quality of product. I have not regretted my purchase of this and a Joseph Joseph extending drainer!I am using less hot water (except when i forget to tighten the plug! Ha ha) and love how it fits in my sink. I have the handles at the front and back, with my tools out of the way at the back of the sink. And as for the drainer... items dry quickly due to the increased airflow under them, the changeable size is an absolute bonus, keeping the work top neat, and there's no more sitting water as a result of the drain! I love gadgets in my kitchen and never thought that i could be so pleased with such utilitarian items, but i can thoroughly recommend both of these items.

Convertí el lavabo en un fregadero adicional
¡Maravilloso! De mucha calidad, el material es exclente, lo tengo en el fregadero de atras y ahi puedo lavar platos adicionalmente, la parte de la tapa se puede quitar por completo para limpiarla. Muy bueno

Where have you been all my life?!
I only just got it, but already love it.It fits the sink perfectly, with some wiggle room. We have a standard stainless 25" single bowl. I also got an OXO Good Grips Sink Mat (Large - B079MRMCGY), to keep the tub slightly elevated over the bottom of the sink. I'm going to keep the tub in the sink, and airflow is key. They work, and look, great together. Why isn't this a kitchen staple item? A handsome tub with a drain. So simple, elegant, and obvious. It saves water, detergent, and helps streamline hand washing. (I don't use a dishwasher. -- Using 2 gallons of recycled water to wash and rinse my dishes? No, thanks. I love Mother Nature, but that's pushing it.) The utensil holder is a really solid addition to the design. I bought another sink from this series for washing delicate clothing, and it's just as nice as this one, but this side-holder model wins. I shopped around a lot, and this was the only one that seemed legit. It is. Joseph & Joseph have something 'signature' on their hands.Thanks.

Untauglich!
Also klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.
