Topo Athletic ST2 Running Shoe - Men's Grey/Black 9

The best running shoe I've owned. Very wide toe box for a natural, comfortable strike. They are fairly durable and could last me around 400 miles before the bottoms start to wear pretty unevenly. I've had 4 pairs already and don't see myself changing anytime soon. Zero drop shoes are the only way to go for healthy running.

This is a great shoe. The shoe is lightweight, zero drop, neutral shoe with an anatomical cut with plenty of room for toe splay. Despite the low stack height, this shoe is surprisingly comfortable. Given the backlash against the minimalist running fad, it is hard to find shoes like this. I think Topo got it right with this shoe - it is flexible but has adequate cushion for long runs. I had been using a stockpile of the discontinued Merrell Access Ultra shoes and just found this shoe. I sincerely hope that this model or close cousins stay on the market for a long time. I have put about 100 miles on my first pair already and haven’t found any shortcomings.
