For Aquarium water management, absolutely essential. I purchased the smallest size. Perfect for adding water treatment chemicals to my small tank.

These pipettes are exactly what I wanted, great price, and usability. I bought them for Aquaponic/Hydroponic chemistry, pH adjustment, and nasty solvents. What I really like is that when measuring the volume, the meniscus is totally flat, negating the necessity to "guess/interpolate" the volume as one needs to do using glass pipettes. I'm not sure if they are volumetrically "accurate", but they're close enough for my purposes and the reliability/reproducibility is sufficient, especially at the cost!As an aside, these pipettes arrived in a box probably sixteen times larger than necessary, (see photo). It's certainly not the vendor's fault, but it's a blatant waste of resources, shame on you Amazon, whatever the reason "Cut It Out!"

Works very well especially with essential oils for perfuming and would recommend if you are trying to get into perfuming and you run out of the ones that come with the kit.
