I have a puppy with huge talens for toenails that is always jumping up and leaving long slashes across my forearms. I was looking for a long thin bandaid for those sorts of cuts and chose this one because it looked like it would be perfect.The adhesive part is long enough for the width of a forearm but the pad really isn't. I would suggest making it twice as long; about 2 inches.I had to put one each on two cuts that were side by side. One bandaid is still adhered and a little corner is barely lifting up, but on the other the end came off my skin and stuck to itself and left the bandaid hanging. If it were made with a slightly stronger adhesive it would be good for this purpose.

I love the extra long bandaids for use on fingers. My skin cracks at my fingertips and I often need several bandaids at once! These work great - but are a little too heavy on the adhesive for me - they end up pulling at my skin just under the fingernail. Use care when removing.

For fingers or toes these bandages are the best! Typical bandages on your fingers come undone the same day. That won’t happen with these! I can wash my hands they still stay on.

When I saw these on Amazon I thought they must be some kind of gimmick or marketing ploy to get me to buy something new. But, I decided to give them a try and see what they were all about.I am SO glad I did. I can't count the many times I have tried to put a bandage on a small wound on my finger or finger tip and the wrap just doesn't go all the way around. This leads to the bandage coming off in short order, sometimes almost immediately. Have had to resort to two bandages (one on top, one on bottom) on numerous occasions, just to get it to stay on.These things are not very wide, but if you are just dealing with a small cut, it should get you there. The gauge is down on one end, so you put it on like a regular band-aid, covering the wound, THEN you wrap the adhesive tail around your finger a few times and it STAYS PUT. And I mean it stays there - I washed my hands several times and even took a shower and this thing didn't even budge (yea, it got wet, like any bandage would, but it stayed in place).If you have large fingers or another application where normal band-aids don't reach around or keep peeling off, you really need to give these a try. Just remember, as I said, they aren't too wide so only small cuts.Highly recommended. When I run out will definitely be buying again.
