There are two different pex systems
Don't know how long this will last, not a professional user, but use it one time and it will save a $100.00 plumber call. It appears to be well made. I noticed some don't know there are two types of pex connections. There is the clamp and the other is the crimp. They are totally different systems. This is the clamp or cinch tool. This tool will fit 4 different sizes of clamps. The crimp too only fits one size, although the tools may come with additional adapters. I think the clamp (cinch) tool will work best for those, like myself, who don't do this very often. If you are confused about the two types go to YouTube, there are some excellent videos. Just remember the crimp tool apply s a ring that gets crimped in place and the clamp is a miniature clamp that gets cinched in place.

Great tool
New to use this tool. Failed a couple of times, all because the pipe was not hold steady and the tool did not tightly hold the clamp. The tool itself works great if used carefully.

Simple to use pex crimper
This is good DIYer pex crimper. I haven't used a more expensive pex crimper to compare to. With this crimper you should plan your crimping process to determine where you can crimp or not crimp. Space is an issue. There is places you can crimp ahead of time then install that section of tubing. There is situations you cannot crimp due to the space it takes to open this device. Plan ahead. Measure and plan twice then crimp. The tool and clamps work great. Study the crimping process first before using. The position of the clamp is important.

I am not a plumber
The tool was a good price and I couldn't find one locally for anywhere near this price. It came as advertised with a bunch of fittings which was a 5-10$ value when compared to local stores again. It crimps well and has a nice ratcheting action. My project needed about 20 crimps, all of which were successful. The only (possible) negative would be the ratcheting teeth appear to be showing signs wear. This is totally fine for me as a DIY'er, but I would question the longevity of the tool under heavy usage. However it was cheap, hence the 5 stars.

Had to replace PEX piping in travel trailer and this tool is perfect
Needed to replace PEX piping that cracked due to freezing in my travel trailer and this was my first time working with PEX. This tool is well made, well designed, and I had no issues clamping 1/2" PEX piping with no previous experience. First went to one of the big box stores that charged over $50 for the same kind of tool. Great tool, great value.

Solid Build
It is solidly built and doesn't seem flimsy at all. Feels like it will last for years. I've used it about 20 times so far and only had one crimp ring fail. Not sure why it failed to this day. It might have been user error. The sizes are what I need. This is much cheaper than the big box stores.

Money saver
This thing saved me big time. It allowed me to put a shut off valve to one of my bathroom showers hot and cold line so I could do my renovation without leaving the water off to the whole house for a long period of time. Easy to use and worth every penny.
