Exactly what I needed
There aren't many bells and whistles, so there's only really one thing to say: it's a great product.I've been using it for about a week, and I've had no issues with quality or sturdiness. The caging is not pressed against the filament (an issue I've had in other products), and it's super easy to clip onto surfaces and move around the room as needed. There's an in-line on/off switch which I much prefer to the toggle being on the--hot--unit. Fantastic item!

These work well
Simple but effective holder for ceramic heating bulbs. Not much to say as it's a simple item, but they are made reasonably well and do what they say. I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend. As for the longevity rating, I've only had them in use for a while now, but there isn't much to go wrong here.

Works fine, but metal wire cover is very loose
It works fine with 50 watt and 25 watt ceramic bulbs. I use it with an inline electric plug dimmer which works fine with it as well. The clamp and rotator are both very tight and secure, which is good. However, the metal protective wire cage around it is very loose and wobbly. It will easily move and end up touching the side of the bulb if even a very light weight is put onto it (such as something climbing onto it). This isn't an issue for me, but could be for pets that might climb up onto the lamp since they can get burnt.

Decent, Could be Better
If you plan on putting a CHE in this, I would say find something else.It works, but your CHE will not sit straight, causing it it lean against the cage and get hotter than it should be. Completely defeats the purpose of the cage because the cage gets just as hot as the CHE inside. It’s also a tight fit within the cage itself, so there’s little room left for your fingers to screw your CHE in.All in all, it will work, but not as well as it’s made to look.

Too small, clamp is finicky
The cage does not fit a normal sized CHE, had to disconnect cage to fit on and then have the cage go around the neck of the bulb, works, but not well. Also the clamp can be finicky and I ended up having to drill through it to hold it in place, but again, it atleast works.

Heat for chicken coop
We use this for our chicken coop. We haven’t had any really cold nights yet but it has kept the temperature up enough to keep them healthy and happy at night when it has gotten low.

Good price and quality
Good quality! Only thing is the power switch wasn’t labeled “on” or “off” so had to click it a couple times to figure out which way was “on”. But it works great!

The cage was one piece and would not fit over the bulb.
The cage was one piece. I am unable to fit the bulb(featured in image they used) in the one that I received. At the time I was desperate bc my old lamp was broken and the temperature was dropping to 22. I took the cage off so I could actually use it in a large outdoor dog house. I wanted to ensure that I had a heat source on both sides. The issue then of course, is I was worried my grand-girl would burn herself on the bulb.I quickly scratched that idea and did indeed melt the sleeve of my jacket by accidentally brushing the bulb while I was in the dog house.I scratched that idea and then moved it to my pump house over my pipes and closed the door. It was the only safe thing I could do with it.The positive was that the clamp worked fine and the inside is ceramic. That’s it. I know I should have returned it however at the time I had too much going on and I did find a use for it albeit not what I originally purchased it for.
