Fuel Ox Star-Plus Complete Heating Oil Treatment & AntiGel Treats of Heating Oil

I replaced my old burner/boiler setup almost 2 years ago and last season I had a recurrent problem with fouled burner nozzles. In our area I'm told that a product called BioHeat or BioFuel is the only heating fuel that is delivered directly from the terminal in New Haven, Ct., and you can't get #2 heating oil anymore.The service techs who have serviced my system are unanimous in their dislike of BioHeat because of fouled nozzles, carbon buildup, etc. And I was told that BioHeat has a higher water content than #2 heating oil. I had a sample analyzed at a nearby lab and they found 3000 PPM of water in suspension in the fuel. I believe that normal readings are in the 200 PPM range . It's a mystery as to the source of the water.After taking my concerns to the service manager of my heating fuel company, he recommended this product primarily due to its ability to remove water from fuel. Since September I've been adding a bottle it to every fill up of about 125 gallons . My tank capacity is 275 gallons.So far so good, the system seems to be running smoothly and so far, no service calls!

I have been having issues with water and sludge in my heating oil tank. Every time I got a new fill the furnace would quit. After a couple bottles of this treatment, the problems seem to be resolved. At least the last fill up didn’t kill the furnace. The furnace burner sounds smoother after adding the treatment. I live in an area of mild to moderate winters so I don’t have any worries about the oil freezing up. It has worked well for me. I will be buying it again in the future.

I add this to my home oil delivery every 3 months. It was recommended to me by the man who services my oil burner. Since I had been using this as an additive, there has been no sludge buildup. Works great for me and would recommend.

This product is insurance against water or sludge buildup within the heating oil tank. There is no wayto know with certainty weather or not it worked. Since I have not experienced any problems, maybeit did. The only way to know with certainty would be to drain the oil from the tank and analyze forwater and sludge and I don't think I'll be doing that.

Product arrived on time and was packaged well. The product was recommended by the furnace repair man because we have sludge and water in the oil tank. I have used two bottles so far. The furnace seems to be running well and it's also running quieter than it was previously. Will definitely use the product again.

Protected well my heating oil from gelling when temperatures dropped to minus. My F.O tank is outdoors, above the ground partially protected with porch. Will buy again.
