perfect fit
dont let the 3 star ease of install scare you away, everything fit where it was supposed to it was just a pain because of where it was located and the weight of it. this definitely changed how my 2012 suburban drives and handles, i went from following every line like a coke head to felling like im driving a compact, it feels so light and responsive, but only time will tell how long it will last but if the stock one went 150k miles im sure this one will do the same or better.I DO HAVE ONE GRIPE ABOUT IT! i had to chase the threads with a tap because the stock bolt had an EXTREMELY tight fit and i didnt want to break it, it was an M6x1.0 tap. i would recommend a test fit before taking what you have on your truck off, it will save a lot of headache. also get seals, this doesnt come with any. these are what i got and they fitSunsong 3170018 PS Hose Seal for General Motors

Make sure to purchase 2 seals for power steering lines.
I am very happy with product. If I would have took time to read these reviews I would have noticed that the power steering line seals were not included. Did job on Sunday and dealer was closed and only part store I could find them at was Oreilys. Haven't found out how to receive my lifetime warranty yet. Can't find a working number to get return shipping label. Still working on that part. As for the rack and pinion it seems to be working great with no problems for me so far. I would give labor difficulty a 4 out of 10. Just make sure to lock your steering wheel before you remove rack steering shaft. I use seat belt thru steering wheel and let sear back to tighten it up. Doing this will make sure you don't damage your clock spring. (Seen 1 review where guy damaged his)

Not exact fitment
Not good, pressure hose lines are not exact fit, they leak like crazy

Good and tight rack.!
The rack works but they give you O-rings not seals for the fluid lines and they don't hold. Need to supply the correct GM seals. $11.00ea.

Does NOT last
I gave it two stars because it’s cheaper than a dealer one by $700, but I also gave it two stars because it’s CHEAP.After the install (during which I also replaced all of my other front-end bushings, ball joints, etc, I had a intermittent, deep, metal-on-metal knock/clunk that I couldn’t trace down. After going through the entire front-end again, and dealing with a leak from this unit, I finally went ahead and replaced this unit with one from a parts store. Fixed the knock/clunk and the leak. This part lasted less than a year, less than 5000 miles.Unfortunately I did not send in my old unit for a warranty, so I am ineligible for a warranty through this seller.Spend the extra $150, go to your local parts store, and get a decent part.

Rack is good. But replace the inner tie rods for good ones.
Had to replace the inner tie rods within a month on the trucks.
