Q: What Country are these made in?

it dosnt say any where on the clamps but I do know that they were a co. called lock jaw who was absorbed by ch hanson thanks to that the price came down by half flaws were fixed and much better quality controle hope this helps

Style doesn't matter. These clamps are worthless. I am very disappointed with them. Don't waste your money is all I can say. For some reason their construction is flawed and they will not properly clamp onto anything. Strong hand is the brand that you should be looking for. I don't know if they went out of business but the Hanson clamp is a copy of that good design.

Q: What is 7 inches? Is that the jaw opening? What is overall jaw when closed?

7" is the approximate length of the tool. The clamping points open about 2" with the arms spread about 4 1/4" at their widest point. Very nice tool overall.
