Product is as listed, easy to put together and disassemble, easy to wash, etc.However, there is a side effect I never considered!!! My 20 year old, DNA tested MALE African Grey LOVED this little house. Week one was great; he spent time in the house. He liked it so much he didn’t even poo on it! He didn’t like it hanging so it was at the bottom of the cage. Week two he wasn’t saying much and spent WAY to much time in the house and covered it in poo, inside and out. He liked it so much I ordered a second one to switch them out when cleaning.When I went to clean the house today the side effect became very apparent!!!! My 20 year old male was now a FEMALE!!!! There were two eggs inside the house she had laid and was sitting on.Being positive he was a male for 20 years this thought NEVER crossed my mind. So for those of you who are looking at getting one, go for it. Just be forewarned you might come home to a side effect of your own. HahaOn a serious note: there is a plastic piece that goes in the material insert that stabilized the bottom of the house. My bird has this plastic piece all tore up. It’s about half of its original size. The plastic clip that comes with it is not something I would use for a parrot or other large bird. I just swapped it out with our normal clips.

It’s very rare that I write reviews but this is the single best purchase I’ve made for my Quaker Parrot! I ordered the smaller version and it’s still HUGE (I had to rearrange his cage to make it work) but he absolutely loves it. It’s his all day playhouse. He loves taking his toys in here because they don’t drop to the bottom of the cage when he is playing with them. He loves taking popsicle sticks, q tips and his foot toys in here to play with and he even makes the cutest little laughing noise when he is in there that can only be interpreted as pure joy. He doesn’t sleep in it but he plays in it all day long (to the point he goes back in his cage during open-cage time because he just loves his little play room!)

I ordered the smaller one too. The large one is a bit intimidating for my Conure. He sleeps on top of it. He has started to pull some threads from the inside seams. Watching this as other tents have come apart. This seems like it will last longer. I hope Sunny my bird doesn't destroy it before I get my moneys worth. The Canvas material looks like it will last. It is what I have been searching for for quite some time. Price is Fair.

It's beyond freaking cute! The bottom pad has a thin plastic insert it has a velcro on one end of the pad to remove the plastic could take it completely apart to wash. It is made of a canvas material. And the pop-up/structure boning is similar to that of a "kite boning" so possibly replaceable if necessary or eaten. And it folds completely flat scared the crap out of me when I opened it just popped up lol. Big enough to fit two Quaker parrots I absolutely love it I hope my bird warms up to it soon 😊. Would recommend.

This bird nest house is a clear favorite of my conures, so much so that I got a second one for their outdoor aviary. They roll around in there, play with foot toys and just hang out. I put in treats that require complex opening, like snap peas, so this house is great for keeping food inside rather than it get wasted on the floor. It's design is well-thought out, with openings at both sides so they don't have to worry about turning around with a long tail. The bottom inside has a plastic insert so the casing can be washed as well as the outside. The velcro makes it easy to put back together again. All in all a great product, cute, durable and well used.

Way bigger than I thought it would be but I can’t complain. Now my spoiled conure has her own mansion :P

My birds love it! It's definitely on the larger side, so I resorted to placing it around the house instead of their cages. While it looks like it's for bigger birds, the little ones also enjoy it! We'll see how it holds up, I definitely recommend this cute find!
