This is the kit you need.
This kit will replace GM components that have known issues for your older GM truck. Pinless aluminum by Sonnax is the way to go. There are plenty of YouTube videos showing you how to install these pistons in the 4L60E valve body.

Cheap "might as well"
Rebuilt my 65e with these included. Nothing special noted and cannot feel any difference in shifts or anything. I just "trust" that is made things better.
