Chicago Pneumatic8940162308, 2" Wide Scraper Chisel for CP7120 Needle Scaler

This is one of two needle scalers I own. It is my choice for everyday all day use. Invaluable for heavy scale removal.

This need scaler uses alot less air and i can keep going with it till im done and it doesn't damage thinner metals that badly as cheaper ones.

Pistol grip design with two sets of needles is ideal for scaling/chipping smaller items especially if the items have a lot of corners and angles. The CP7125 does exactly what I hoped it would. It is a great complement to a CP7120.

Works great! Sips air ,my air compressor had no problem keeping up as I took off all the rust off of my truck frame. Super powerful and uses less air than other models I have used. 5 star 🌟

I don't use this often so it hasn't gotten a lot of use. I bought it to chip the build up of glue from a clamp rack. It works reasonably well. I don't know how long the needles will last, they seem to have rounded over fairly quickly, normal I suspect.

This thing is a boss compared to the cheap one I had. I needed one that would really work, all the air tools I have that lasted many years are all Chicago Pneuamatic. Bonus is the scaler attachment fits on my Patco USA air chisel, this is basically a Tiawan clone of the Patco, but don't let that stop you it's well made. I got the entire thing for what I could have bought just the scaler attachment for on the Patco. Best deal was on amazon. I generally try to by USA made products but in this case I can overlook it for the price and value of this one.

Beats the rust scale off the metal frame of my truck! A little noisy but does the trick!

The removal of weld slag is no problem. I have used it only with 7018 welding rod. I don't know how well it will remove cellulose flux on rods such as 6011 or 6010. The only draw back is the weight. It is heavy but as with most tools they have to be robust to withstand a shop environment. It has been drop "tested" and survived. I wish it was manufactured in the United States instead of China. I would buy another one if needed.

J'ai choisi le meilleur de tous selon les commentaires, après 3 jobs je peux vous dire que je suis vraiment satisfait....je suis content d'avoir acheté cet outil qui selon moi va durer longtemps. C’est robuste et fort.... il fait du bruit et énormément de bruit si vous nettoyer des back plate de freins en place sur un véhicule...la résonance est infernal....utilisé ailleurs c' est fort, mais tolérable.....ça fait tomber ce que les brosses ne prennent pas retirer ou ce que les meules diminuent inutilement en nettoyant ....c'est un bon compromis pour ceux qui lutte contre la rouille !!!! Très bon achat, si vous bricolé sérieusement c'est quelque chose d'assez impressionnant , vous avez cependant besoin d'un bon compresseur car ça tire de l'air.

Terrible quality, would never buy again. Internal components broke after several months, only used it a couple times a week, oiled it daily. Definitely not made like the old Chicago Pneumatic.
