BEST BOOK EVER
The Bourne trilogy is my absolute favorite series. Sometimes the pace slows down but that is when something exciting is about to happen!!! I'm 10 pages from finishing this book. I keep stalling to finish it because I don't want it to end!!! The writing is phenomenal. I love how Ludlum refers to Webb (Bourne) by different names based on the circumstance of the situation he is in. If you are new to Bourne... Start with the Bourne Identity, then read The Bourne Supremacy, then this book. If you don't, you will be confused and lost. I highly recommend this book. It is fantastic!!!

Engaging, pulls it all together
Ludlum does a great job of continuing the saga from the first two books and tying the whole story together. Ultimatum moves! It does not seemed to get bogged down as the first two did at times. Reading all three together is the way to go - AND - you do have to read them all to the end, if you want to understand and appreciate the story line. Here we get a much better view and understanding of the conflict between Jason Bourne and David Webb. We get to see a much more human Jason Bourne - one who actually makes mistakes, acknowledges them and learns from them.Having read Ultimatum - I'm intrigued to discover the next chapter in this story. Great job!

Russian Wooden Nesting Dolls
The story contains several stories like the Russian nesting dolls. Where will Jason Bourne end up now that Carlos the Jackal is dead? Thanks

trying to tie this tale up
A great twisted tale of international espionage and intrigue. Our hero isn’t quite what he used to be but is still the best at what he does.

Ok read, but became more coarse than I like to enjoy in my spare time.
This book was an ok read, but the language continued to become more and more coarse with each book in the trilogy and became a distraction for me. As with the other books in the trilogy, it is a completely different story than the movies. That isn't all bad, just don't come to this trilogy with the movies in mind.

The Bourne Ultimatum
This was a good read, much like the first two, I wouldn't read them out of order though. I'm anxious to read the fourth book which is written by a different author I think it will be interesting to see what differences in writing styles there are if any.

back on the pace
This is the third and last book of Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne series, and he ends the trilogy on a high. While the "Bourne Supremacy" was clearly off the pace of the series' first book, this last one has it all. After going off on an Asian advneture/nightmare in Book 2, the third installment now brings Jason Bourne/David Webb to the ultimate showdown with his nemesis Carlos the Jackal. But don't fool yourself that this is a straightforward kind of deal: Medusa is raising its ugly head again as well, this dark chapter in Bourne's past having taken on a new manifestation in an even more dangerous form. Of course Bourne/Webb does not go hunting alone, his courageous wife as well as Mo Panov and Alex Conklin add their usual character color to this well conceived page turner. Once again the character of David Webb/Jason Bourne as the tormented split identity is exquisitely drawn and is not run thin by the breackneck pace of the globe-spanning action.A must-read and very gratifying end to one of the best spy/suspense trilogies there is!

Different from the movie
I have just about finished the trilogy that this book is the last. They are very different from the movies. In fact, it is as if the movies just had the same character names and were just inspired by the books but have a different story all together. The books are a little slower reading then some of the more current books in the genre but I like the change of pace.I read them one after the other a little at a time before going to sleep and truly have enjoyed them this way.

No Condescention for Readers will be Found in This Thriller!
Borne Ultimatum was such a relief to me as a teen. Robert Ludlum does not waste time explaining a thing! He just flies through the action and and won't leave you behind. Great plot and fantastic storytelling all the way!

Good read
Nothing like the film or should I say the film is nothing like the book

All drei Teile sind super spannend.
