First tasted pine honey in Quebec and it is not easy to find in the US.The jar of pine honey from Canada was tiny too and did not last long.Personally I love pine honey and this is great quality.If you never had pine honey, it has a very different flavor than clover honey.The other reviewer mentioned woodsy and that is correct.Try it… if you don’t like it…give it to a friend.And if you love it like we do…this is a good size bottle and it will last a long time.

I was curious so I purchased this and fed it to coworkers. 50% think it's much better than local honey. 1 disliked the woody notes and the remainder thought it's about the same. Compared to normal usa honey, this is sweeter sooner, has two total sweetness peaks, and finishes with a very slight woody note. Overall it's more complex and a bit better. I'll continue to buy local honey for daily use and this as a gift or use for special occasions.
