I paid around £24Being a precision engineer in my previous employment I can see the quality in the design and manufacture of this item.I'm not wealthy by a long way... But I believe that quality items are worth paying that extra premium price for....and the quality in this simpler door stop makes me smile when I down the stairs and see it.Customers are not paying a premium price for a block to stop a door, we are paying for a precision piece of design and workmanship that I believe enhances the decor of any room it's installed in.You can buy a doorstop for a couple of quid which will stop your door from banging your wall... But it will always look like a cheap intern plain and uninteresting...I highly rate this product and think anyone using it as part of a room design will agree it's value for money and will last for years

This is quite a sturdy door stop although it becomes a bit wobbly if it is fully extended. It is fixed to the wall with only a single screw, about an inch long. I was fixing to brick so this was fine, but I'm not sure how secure this would be if you wanted to fix it to wood or plaster. You must use the screw supplied. A longer screw would not be suitable.There are no fitting instructions, but it's pretty simple so it would probably not be a problem for most people. One tip is not to tighten the base-plate too firmly against the wall. This will allow some movement so that it can be adjusted to allow the stop to fit into the recess on the base-plate when you screw it on. When you've got the exact position, the stop can be removed and the base-plate fully tightenedOnce fitted it looks very neat

Classic case of you get what you pay for. Pricey item, lots of cheaper versions available, but this is top quality, rock solid, very well made and was the only one i could find that extended this far.

we needed a stop for a loo seatwe found this one on Amazonits completely adjustableand great on the eyewe'd definitely order another one!

Easy to install perfect to go under the radiator.

Worked well until the rubber end fell out and was lost! Not much good now. I will try superglueing the next one together before use.

A firm/solid quality door stop, which can be extended upto 120mm, (I only needed 80mm). Easy to adjust to the depth you require simply by turning, and it does not move once set. Bought one with the white rubber tip to match my bathroom decor. Worth every penny, and very quick delivery.
