Better than the Molotow pens
I like the lid with a jar way better than the pens that always dry out.Less wasteful.I apply it with a damp old paintbrush and wipe it off the brush immediately with a damp cloth.Works great, haven't had it stain the paper.Wait until it's fully dry down on your paper before rubbing off with a white rubber eraser or a clean dry finger.Easy, functional, no issues.

This works well
First time using this type of product. Seems to work well. I didn't have any trouble applying or removing it. Blocked 100% of the paint. A little bit goes a long way.

Works great!
I tried another masking fluid before this one (can't remember which brand), but I definetly like this one better. For one thing the other product was white -- this one is blue, which makes it easy to see on your paper. People have different ways of removing it, but I simply rub it with my finger or a rag and brush the crumbs away with a old large paintbrush. Very quick. To prevent the masking fluid from hardening on my brush, I use a method I learned from a youtube tutorial. Before dipping into the masking fluid, I dip my brush in a small jar of water w/ a little bit of dish soap. I pat the brush on a papertowel, then dip in the fluid and paint. I do this every 3rd or 4th time I dip into the fluid. When I'm done, I swish the brush in the soap solution, then rinse in water. Works like a charm. If you want to do very fine lines with the fluid, consider a ruling pen. You can adjust the pen for different widths. This worked great on a painting I did of a brick building -- I used the ruling pen and masking fluid for the lines between the bricks. I could then freely paint the bricks in different shades (as real bricks are not a solid color). I removed the mask, then tinted the lines between the bricks with an off white.

When removed, this left my paper tacky in some spots.
The media could not be loaded. I had never used this brand prior to this order. It masks well if used correctly and thins down fine with water. I don't ever leave mask on overnight or for an abnormally long time but even with the few hours I had it on my watercolor paper, when scrubbed off it left areas tinted the light blue color of the mask and even some places that felt tacky after removing all I could from the page. I do, however, like the recess in the top of the products lid that allows for a small amount of fluid to be held and used while the bottle is tightly closed so as to prevent unnecessary drying of the bottled masking fluid.

Very helpful to keep lines crisp
I use masking fluid with my pen and ink art, and with watercolor paintings. I just pour the fluid into a tray pallet. I dip the brush or a tool I use into the tray. This stuff dries quick. As soon as you pour it put the lid back on the container, this will your fluid from becoming thick. Once you have it on the paper you can paint or draw right over it. It is great for creating water droplets or going around the edge of something before you paint the sky.

Great Product for water coloring.
Great for watercolor painting. Have tried others and they dry up quickly. This seems to be holding it liquidity.

Great masking fluid.
prefer this SO much more than Daniel Smith masking fluid. Can see it much better, goes on more easily because it's much thinner. Peels off very easily--if your paper is heavily textured you may need to rub it out of the indentations with a soft cotton cloth.

Favorite masking fluid
My favorite masking fluid. Been using it for years. Buy the smaller containers so it doesn't go bad.
