I've used a variety of these Command strip products, including many of these poster strips. I just moved out and took everything down. Worked like a charm.Poster strips -- left both poster and wall perfectly intact and clean. This is the product on this page, I absolutely love these.Strips with the plastic cord holders - perfect, ran then along a piece of wood behind the sink in my kitchen. Passes by one old hook (not a command strip) that was installed there ages ago, is yellowed and glued firmly, will never come off. Reminds me why I love these strips.Landlady didn't follow instructions--my landlady came in one day to look around and without consulting me decided to take something off the wall that I had hung up using command strips. She had no clue how they work so she just yanked it off and it left some marks. I don't like her. I was pretty angry.I don't expect these to work flawlessly in extreme temperatures or high humidity, or on every imaginable surface. I expect they will not work well if the paint is not well adhered to the wall, if the surface is not clean, if the weight hung on these strips exceeds the force they are rated for, or if the instructions are not followed properly. However, so far I haven't had a single failure and I plan to use them to hang up everything, including mirrors, in my new apartment.

I'm a Sophomore college student and I love these strips for setting up a multitude of things in my dorm room. Although it says they are for posters I find that using more than one (as you would with a poster anyway) can hold up a wide variety of items. I live in a considerable small room shared with one other person so space management is key. I use these strips to mount my power bar (or whatever you call it) to the wall next to my desk for easy access to outlets for my various devices. I also use them to mount my small picture frames on the wall and as replacements for the larger adhesive strips used in the Command Adhesive Hooks which I have plenty of (use two facing in opposite directions to cover the entire back, works just as well as the full size strips). I've even mounted the receiver for my wireless headphones on the wall with no problems at all freeing up much needed space on my desk. And of course, I use these strips to mount my posters on the wall and ceiling (many people prefer using sticky putty for posters, but very rarely will putty be able to hold a poster up on the ceiling).It is, however, very important to follow the instructions that say to wipe down both the wall and item being mounted with rubbing alcohol before mounting. This has proven to be the deciding factor between long term adhesion and falling off within an hour or so.A fantastic product, I will buy it again and again!

I'm a teacher and now use these command strips exclusively to hang posters on the walls of my classroom. I've tried every alternative, including masking tape, packing tape, duct tape, hot glue, tacky stuff, and all the special "teacher" tapes specifically designed for this purpose. With all of these my posters would fall at night or over the weekend when the central air in the building was turned off. So frustrating! With these, my posters stay neat and attached to the wall all year! I must admit they are more expensive then other poster hanging methods but the frustration they help avoid is so worth it in my opinion. I do cut them in half, lengthwise, to limit the number I use on each poster. They hold just as well and come off cleanly at the end of the school year. So pleased!

I've been decorating my room recently with blacklight posters, but some of them were expensive so I didn't want to put any kind of adhesive that would ruin them. So I found this product, and it had very good reviews on it, so I gave it a go. Turns out, it works very well. Very simple instructions, red-tab side on poster, black-tab side on wall, a little firm pressing and you're done.If you are worried about removal, I was too, but I came into an instance that I put one of my posters up lopsided and had to readjust. I read the instructions and they had a section about that, and I followed it and it came off like it said. I don't know about take tabs off the poster though, that would seem a little tricky.Also if you have big posters, 4 tabs might not work, because then you have big pockets of poster not attached to the wall and a lot of air between it and the wall. So on one or two I used 6. But that shouldn't be a big issue.Overall, I'd say this is a safe product to buy.

This product should be an essential on every college students' to buy list. I use command strips for everything from hanging up posters and calendars to decorating my dorm with hot wheels cars. The command strips are, quite literally, magic. They withstand quite a good amount of weight and will leave the walls of your dorm AND your posters completely damage free, great for avoiding any costly "dorm room damage" fees at the end of the school year. A small tip is that you don't actually need an entire strip to put up a poster, you can most certainly cut them in half length-wise and they'll still work perfectly. The value pack here is great because there are enough in there to last you forever.

No more nails leaving holes when you want to redecorate. It is important to read the instructions to know how to remove the strips and protect the wall. I wish I had these at college and when renting apartments. It would have made decorating so much easier.This value-pack has 48 strips and they are great posters, framed pictures, caddies of makeup and brushes. For a large poster, we used one strip on each corner and another along the top and bottom around the middle of the poster. I used strips for framed pictures though I probably only needed halves on the smaller frames because they were not heavy. This size is good for light items.

The same old good quality 3M Command poster strips for a better price than the small packages that the local stores are selling. Everything is as expected.Also the packaging is made in such a way that it is easy to store the strips long term - all of the promotional paper can be removed and the leftover plastic case can then be opened and resealed multiple times.
