When I first built my PC around 10 years ago I had a tiny little WiFi dongle. It wasn’t great to begin with.Over those 10 years I’ve upgraded my PC a couple of times and also had newer WiFi routers. Anyway the one I had wasn’t really up to the task anymore and was slowing my connection down because of its age.I saw this one, read some reviews and decided to purchase one.Delivery was really quick. It’s a well designed device, looks awesome, good strong connection and speeds. The setup was really easy too.Highly recommended for those who don’t want to spend a lot but want a decent device.

Absolutely brilliant if you have a fell optiplex 7040 without Wi-Fi. I literally plugged it into the USB slot and no other action required. Wi-Fi networks immediately visible. Speed of wifi as it should be. Love it!!! Worth it! It even came with a disk drive!!!

It immediately fixed the issues I was having in relation to my network. It creates a second network and duplicates the signal. However if I sometimes bump into it, it makes my computer blue screen and restart. And after a while of use, it sometimes takes a small bit of time to detect WiFi networks. Overall good price, good design.

Set up took 2 minutes from opening the box. Works seamlessly with my devices. Order arrived well packed and on time. A delightful experience all round. Highly recommend this item.

I was dubious about this device, after having several USB wifi adapters before. While, as ever, an Ethernet connection is always the best for the fastest speed possible, sometimes that isn't always possible and that applies here. After doing some more research into this device and reviewing other websites' reviews on this, I decided to buy it - I've not been disappointed! - The difference in speed is remarkable, after pulling no more than 250-300mb download on the previous USB3.0 wifi adapter, this is now giving me double that, comfortably.If you're have a decent piece of kit, perhaps one of the best USB3.0 wifi adapters then definitely purchase this, you won't be dissapointed.

The instructions are inadequate, I had to get help online to find that you have go into the settings and turn off the built-in wi-fi then select "wi-fi 2" and connect it. The so called manual is on line so it would cost them nothing to write decent instruction.Despite the huge aerial, it gave no stronger a signal than the built-in wi-fi on my laptop.And the real killer, it connects to the hub at 2.4GHz with no option to make it connect at 5GHz, which was the whole point of trying it because I have interference on 2.4GHz.In short, if you have wi-fi built-in this will do nothing to improve on it.Additional: After days of trying I still haven't managed to get it to connect to my hub using the 5GHz band, if it really has this feature then it's unusable, and nothing like the claimed speeds, see the pic

Falsely Advertised. Mac Users - do not buy.Product was selected specifically based on the search term "USB WiFi Dongle for Mac" and Amazon suggested this product. Furthermore, the product icons showed "MAC" as one of the compatible operating systems.WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU is that this is only compatible with Mac operating systems from ~ ten years ago. It is completely incompatible with any vaguely modern Mac. There's even a TP Link staff member on their help forum saying that they basically gave up trying to make anything work with Mac after about 2019 as it was a lost cause for them.If buying for a Mac - DONT.
