Ossetra Sturgeon Caviar 250g (8.8 oz)

This is the third time we have ordered this caviar. Caviar arrived well packed and fresh with nice beads. Flavor was good on the mild side. Texture/pop was good.A good Ossetra at a good price. Will buy it again for Christmas.

Poor quality, poor texture, very salty, had to trash it

It arrived well packaged and the gel blocks still partially hard over the 46 hours transport.I was concerned though that the caviar felt chilled but not cold.I immediately moved to the fridge and tried it 20 hrs later. Picture below of the just opened container.I’ve had Petrossian Ossetra caviar before and this one seems to lack the pop and fresh buttery taste. (I recognize I’m comparing two different quality ratings.)I’m going to guess this was in the warehouse for a while before it was shipped to me.For the value, this is acceptable for use as a garnish but not fresh enough for a lounging of vodka and caviar.

Fresh but mild taste, poor texture, quickshipping, price commensurate with quality that I received.

quality product at a realistic price

This caviar was the centerpiece of our Christmas Eve appetizer board, along with smoked salmon and all the accutrement. We ordered the identical tin last year and were very happy with the product. Unfortunately this year was different. While the flavor was good, the berries were absolute mush, and there was no popping of them when they were in your mouth. Mushy roe for Christmas Eve, what a let down. An expensive lesson — buyer beware.

Not what I hoped for. Packaging not great. Texture not great. Taste -- eh. Was trying to recreate a caviar late night dinner we had in Moscow and this didn't "get it" .

The quality of the product is comparable with Petrossian caviar and i mean the BEST Petrossian.Service is great Overall AAA+++++
