how many speaker one or two

One 10in 1200 watt can hit harder and cleaner than most dual 12in set ups I have seen as long as it is done correctly. My suggestion is always to never waste your money on a second 10in...spend it on QUALITY wire (truthfully when it comes to sheer sound quality, your speaker wire is one of the most important things--spend the extra money on the bigger gauge)---do not try to run your sub off of some random amp either...make sure it's a mono, or a multi channel bridged correctly. People spend hundreds on speakers, but then install them incorrectly. The truth about sound is the price of the speakers matters much less then the way they are installed. Seal your box. Yes, run one 10in at 1200watts set up with a wired fuse, a decent head, and decent components and do not cheap out on installation and it will blow most things away.

what is the rms of the sub?

The only data that i could find is on another website. It claims to be only 250 watt rms. I have them ran in a circuit bridged at 4oms with this amp http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002RU92WI/ref=oh_details_o03_s02_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they sound great for the cost. Not sure if they are only 250 watts rms that sounds low for the way they sound. Thats all i could find.

What is the frequency range of the 10" Pyle?

I'm really not sure of the frequency range of the 10" cause I got the 12". Also i couldn't even say what it is on the 12" cause I winged alot of my car stereo set up an have no technical know how. I did some research on the internet to find out what i could before and after buying stuff that failed an worked. I will tell you that i have a 4 channel SSL amp that says 1600 watts (doubt that is what its really pushing cause of RMS ratings) hooked up to two 12" bluewave pyle subs in a box i made at home from some wood around the garage that was left over from a roofing job and a plexi glass top so i could look in on it. It took me a month to figure out what settings on the amp would work without it sounding distorted or having the amp shut off by itself from the safety feature. An as you may have already noticed they don't show the RMS rating for these speakers. I also read through all the comments on this speaker to get all the info i could about it, if you have not done that then I recommend doing so. After all my blunders an success i am surprised at the results an am very pleased with the sound quality i get from my subs. I hope that helped at least a little lol.

whats a good amp for these sub

A decent match would be any decent amp that is around 1100w if youre getting two subs then get a 2000w amp. I bought two of these and a Pyle 2000w 2 channel amp and it sounds excellent for the price of it all! You should try to avoid getting an amp that is more powerful than your sub's as it is easier to blow them but you can always tune an amp down
