Better than I expected!
Works incredible. This is from my first attempt, I just need to learn how to style it but I'm very happy with the results. My hair is very fine, so I used the medium setting, I just hope I don't burn my hair and that it lasts a couple days. I usually put a heat protector serum on the mid length and ends but now I'm going to have to find a spray to protect the roots. Using the crimper is an extra step and a little time consuming but I imagine it will get easier and faster over time. My hair is super flat on top and gets oily fast. Volume from blowdrying, volume sprays, and dry shampoo doesn't last. Teasing falls out unevenly as well. Extensions help a little to fill in some areas and to look like I have more hair, but don't do much for the crown. I am so much happier with these results. Glad I purchased!

Very easy to use
Got this after putting off getting one for years, was scared to order one online so I was trying to find one in person...which proves to be a lot more difficult than I thought. But this works great, I got it to style some wigs and it's great, even at the lowest setting (I'm scared being a newbie). The design is nice and sleek, feel like it'd be pretty easy to pack up too if needing to travel. Very easy to use, coming from a beginner, and helps give some volume to wigs!!

Don't Buy the Expensive Brand
I have coarse Asian hair that is naturally a touch wavy. The longer it gets, the flatter it looks. My hair holds a curl and has some texture due to a balayage, but giiiiirl, I need volume! I tried the Voloom iron for a little bit, but couldn't bring myself to keep something over $100. I did a quick search on Amazon and found this reasonable crimper. For the price, I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It didn't give me voluminous hair circa 1980's, but it gave me something I was happy with. It's not a wide crimper so it may take a little time with thicker hair. It's worth it though. I usually wash my hair every 3 days and I've been using this crimper on day 1. The volume lasts until I wash my hair. I section my hair and crimp about 4" down, curl with a large barrel iron, then finish with texturizing spray. Hello beachy waves! The best way to use this crimper is to follow Voloom's instructions.

Great little gizmo
I didn't want to spring for the $100 one with bigger and square teeth. This works for my fine hair, takes 5 minutes and I only use it in a few places. Because it keeps the roots of your hair lifted from your scalp, you don't have to wash quite as often.

Simple Hair Volume Hack that WORKS!
I was skeptical about using a crimper for hair volume. I’m so glad to be wrong! I have very fine, straight hair. I’ve tried every product I can think of. In general, I try to minimize the number of chemicals I use in products. My hair is so limp, I probably would’ve used anything to give it volume.I started using Bumble and Bumble Thickening Full Form Mousse the same time that I started with the Little Tease. After washing my hair, I add the mousse to my damp hair. After I dry my hair, it kind of has the texture of hair that’s been sprayed with hairspray then brushed through, so it gives me a little bit of stiffness that I think works really well with the crimping, without making me look like I have huge hair. I don’t find it sticky at all, and I think it works really well with the crimper.(Photos show before using the Little Tease and after. I had already dried my hair with the BB Mousse in the first pic. Third pic shows how I crimp it.) In the after pic, I’ve also flat-ironed the ends of my hair. The Bed Head Little Tease is so easy to use! I use alligator clips to hold back the top layer of hair and crimp 2 to 3 layers underneath on both sides of my part. I don’t do this under the hair on the very front of my head, because it would show around my face. It takes less than five minutes to do this.I actually like my hair now! It was damp this morning and I went out in it without an umbrella. My hair had no idea 😊. It didn’t get frizzy or a limp. I think the combination of the product with the crimping helped with humidity as well. For the price that you would spend on one salon quality volumizing product, the little tease is so worth buying if your hair is fine and limp like mine. Some people complained about the plates not fitting together well. I find if I clamp the crimper closed with my other hand, the plates do seem to kind of shift until they come together, but I don’t know why that’s big deal. It doesn’t affect the machine working at all.I’m glad I didn’t spend a bunch money on the other hair crimper that is supposed to be for volume. This works great for 20 bucks!

Loved..at first
I loved at first because it did give my hair volume however even on medium and then low heat, I started to notice hair was falling out. I saw it on the counter and floor but I always lose strands so didn’t think anything of it. Then after a few weeks input my hair up into a messy bun and saw all the breakage (because you only use this crimped under the hair for volume). Oh my goodness exactly where it was crimping was all broken off. So much damage. But it was happening little by little and it’s been cold so I hadn’t worn my hair up in a while. Sad to say, it’s going in the garbage. No hot tool should cause that kind of breakage on low heat on hair that has product on it for protection and though I don’t do hair anymore and am a teacher, I am a licensed hair stylist. I would never use this product on a client or myself or family member because the volume isn’t worth the hair breakage. Shame too since it’s a great idea in theory

Great for root boost
I have very fine, thin hair and it’s a very short length. I have been looking at the rootie for volume which is way more expensive. I found this which has a much better price point. It gives me amazing volume and makes my hair look thicker and fuller. I only have to do about 5 to 6 sections which adds only a couple of mins to my styling time but creates so much difference in my look and style. Great price and quality. Highly recommend for fine hair ladies!

Works well
This works well to add volume to my fine, thin hair. I recommend it while cautioning: Do NOT hold it down long! Just tap, tap and remove it.
