Traveler Guitar 6 String Acoustic-Electric Guitar, Right, Maple (ULN MPS)

I have a steel string one, a nylon string one and the ukulele (no longer available).

I recently picked up my nylon-strung classical guitar again after concentrating on electric for a few years. I've been practicing a couple of Spanish pieces and getting somewhere. I had a 2 week holiday coming up but didn't want to take my bulky guitar and case with me. Enter this Traveller guitar.I'd seen Traveller electrics but didn't realise they did nylon-strung as well. But this seemed ideal.The neck and string spacing is the same as on my full-bodied guitar so it was perfect for practice on holiday. I took a small practice amp with me but found the piezo pickup also amplified my fingers sliding on the wound strings. For my purposes of practice and learning I didn’t really need amplification anyway, but it might be something to consider if you intend to plug into something. Or maybe it highlights a deficiency in my technique!The regular tension strings it came with are OK standard strings but I might replace them with Saverez High Tension like I have on my full-size guitar - this Traveller has an adjustable truss-rod which will be useful here.At home I find I often pick it up instead of getting my main guitar out of its case!

Extremely poor quality.The handle at the top of the neck was connected by a plastic cable tie ! This was in plain sight, unbelievable for a guitar costing over £330.The screws holding the support timber for the tuning pegs were proud of the surface not countersunk as one would expect.Every thing about the guitar seemed poor and cheap build quality.

Pour une utilisation en guitare classique la position de la main droite change un peu mais la guitare est tout à fait utilisable. La qualité de fabrication est très bonne et le son avec un petit ampli vox est très correct. Elle a tendance à se désaccorder par contre assez rapidement. Néanmoins, vu les dimensions et le poids une tres bonne guitare de voyage.

Buon prodotto, comodissima da trasporto per le dimensioni veramente ridotte. Buona tastiera. peccato non abbia possibilità di equalizzazione e sia un po’ scomodo accordarla ma considerato lo spazio disponibile non si può ottenere tutto.

As soon as I saw this innovative guitar months ago, I wanted it. I play a classical guitar but I also have been wanting something electric that I could plug into my computer for digital music creation, or into some amplification for gigs. I am thrilled at how good the thing sounds, the play-ability of it, the portability, the beauty, craftsmanship, and in general, just how cool it looks. After reading reviews before ordering, my one concern was whether the neck in relationship to the small body would want to fall, but with a strap connected over my shoulder, that does not happen. It stays in great balance. I look forward to getting an effects pedal so I can switch from the pure acoustic sound to electric effects. When not playing it, I hang it on a peg in our mudroom, and it classes things up. The travel bag fits it perfectly with a small pocket for its accompanying tools or other things I need for it. This thing is awesome!
