Works great, not just for HVAC
Using it to measure fuel inlet restriction on a firetruck. Worked great, was able to monitor via Bluetooth while road testing. Works great.

Connectivity can be erratic
Overall, they are great. I just have to reconnect every now and then even when I haven’t gone far.

Nice when they worked, but had issues and failures in the first 3 weeks
I decided to give these gauges a try. The weak point on them is the jacks for the temperature probes and the probes themselves. See the screenshots . It isn't very great when only one of the temp probes and gauges is working.Instead of using a standard type k setup this set uses a proprietary setup with a stereo jack type connection. The issue is this gets in the way when the gauges are connected to an hvac system. If the jack were on the top this might not be an issue, but I first had one probe start to fail about half the time and then the other gauge seemed to have an issue with the female port for the jack. The app can be troublesome when connecting them. I'd have to close it and turn my phone on airplane mode while power cycling the gauges and then hitting the connect button on them after reopening the app. I contacted elitech three times when the temp probes stopped working but never heard back. So I opted to return them since I was within the 30 day window and the lack of response from the mfg made the 1 year warranty pretty useless. Also, other things to note about these. The seals aren't standard gauge type seals. I noticed them starting to wear after two weeks. Since they aren't standard this would require getting new seals from the mfg.The charging tee that's included also uses a non standard valve depressor. Mine came off and I was unable to replace it with one from the assortment of hose repair parts I keep with me. Every other hose, valve, and adapter I've used has been interchangable with the parts kit I carry. I ended up buying expesive appion charging tees to keep using this kitThe gauges use npt and you have to use tape to seal the connection. You'll need to have some bent adapters or tees on hand to make these work with most Lennox or goodman systems and some carriers due to fitment issues with the straight connector.I liked these when they were working, but have now switched to fieldpiece probes and wireless temp clamps. I borrowed a set from a friend and noticed I didn't have the fitment issues or pairing issues. The elitech app seems nice enough. It's visual and was nice to screenshot, but the pairing issues seemed to waste a lot of time and when the temp probes stop working or the gauge drops off it becomes a useless boat anchor instead of a precise tool.I was hoping to get a year or so out of these...three weeks it was. Save your money and buy a higher quality tool.
