Samsung Galaxy A10 Mobile Phone; Sim Free Smartphone - Black (UK Version)

In my opinion this is the best smartphone for the price and it serves my purpose perfectly. I need a smartphone that is reliable and functions well, I don't require a high end camera and I am not someone who is addicted to smartphones so you will never see me walking down the street staring at one and I always switch mine off when I am in a conversation with someone, there are other aspects to life than devices; but, we have reached the stage where smartphones are, in many ways, essential (like controlling your home security while you are away) and so useful, making life easier. I am sure that we are not far off the day when it will be impossible to open a door without an app to do so. So, I consider having one of these almost essential and certainly very useful and this one serves my needs to perfection, I have no use for one costing the earth and would avoid the very cheapest. I am sure that if you need a smartphone for light to medium use you will not be disappointed with this one.

I was looking for an android that was not overpriced as most of them are. This was a choice of the A10 and A20 and the only real difference I could see was that the 20 has fingerprint ability. My last phone had this and did not always work, so I decided to save a few pounds and I am not disappointed.What did disappoint was the delivery. Driver rang the bell and I ran (yes ran) to the door and he was already driving away and on the 'follow your parcel' he had noted 'handed to person' It is a mobile and I can only thank goodness it was not chucked over the fence but left on the doorstep for anyone to take if I had not been in!

So easy to buy from Amazon and transfer my Pay-as-you-Go sim card from my old phone (different make) to this one, thereby keeping my phone number and those contacts and photos that had been added to the SIM card and not the phone hardware. Love the features and bright colourful displays on the Samsung! So much better than my old phone – so glad I switched to Samsung on friends’ recommendation. Good camera with lots of in-phone photo editing features to play with, and the gallery is well laid out for finding your photos easily. I find the battery lasts a good few days, but maybe because I don’t use it for calls as much as texts and photos. It only lost 1 star due to a few ‘wish it had …’ features that my old phone did have: the on-off switch is on the side below the volume switch on the Samsung rather than the top, which means you have to be careful not to inadvertently turn off your phone mid-action, especially if adjusting the volume, or using the volume switch to take a photo (useful feature of the Samsung). Also there is no ‘blinking light’ to show you when a message has come in even when the phone is off, as on the old one, which was very useful. The camera is very good quality but it only has one setting to ‘zoom’ in one step closer, rather than a slider bar to let you zoom in and out as you need. But these are minor points - if Samsung would consider adding these features, it would be a 5-star phone at a very reasonable price! The English manual is downloadable online. So far so good!

I bought this phone last year, and it has been nothing sort of amazing. For under 200 bucks this is unbelivable value. Super fast, nice camera, great battery life, easy to use. If you want a high level smart phone at at cheap price this is the one.

My last phone battery died, and a new battery to be fitted costing was £60,So instead i took the plunge with this Samsung, the screen size is impressive,It does all the apps i need, & it was only £120 a real bargainCant really fault it except for some of the ring tones which where annoying,so i downloaded some new ringtones from the app store.Highly recommended phone

this phone is so easy to use, takes great photos, good memory, battery life is great, speaking to people is very clear and just everything about this phone is soooo easy and simple and uncomplicated. I love it!!!

Be warned the negative reviews don't understand what they've bought. The relabeling is standard practise for phones coming to UK. The sim card tray not working is because idiots are trying to force sim cards in the blank slot! Plus some don't realises you need a nano sim. This phone is excellent for the money and the price is bang on for this phone because it isn't high spec despite the massive screen. There is a little loading lag but for Web browsing and social media it's perfect. Struggles with heavy processing gaming. Battery is excellent but dies fast when any heavy gaming because this phone hasn't the processing power so heats with use. Top tip - use the charger and cable provided. Too little or too much power charging will mess up battery - fact and we're on our 3rd A10. 1 was us using wrong charger, next was screen fault not amazon resolved. I've got a £800 Samsung and I'm on 3rd screen so don't judge.This is a little (well huge) tank of a phone.Considering the you're getting 6+ inches people are either whinge bags or conspiracy theory lovers.Price is right. Product is brand new.

Great phone for money. Does everything I need it to, very easy to use actually prefer it to iphone. Never offline with it so needs charged every night but that's not a problem. Highly recommend 5*
